ECPI has 100% online degrees at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Popular online bachelor's degrees include cybersecurity, healthcare administration, and mechanical engineering technology. Programs are accelerated, so you can earn an online bachelor's degree in less than three years or an online associate degree in less than two if you attend full time. Courses include simulations, virtual labs, and weekly synchronous (live) instruction.

According to the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), ECPI is considered a four-year institution (a "real" university) that also offers two-year degrees. However, it is not a community college due to its private, for-profit status. 

ECPI is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate, baccalaureate, master's and doctorate degrees, and certificates. This accreditation status means that ECPI is a legitimate school that can prove its financial practices are ethical and its academic programs are high quality. It also means that students can transfer credits from one accredited institution to another.

ECPI's admission requirements are unclear on its website. You must first call to schedule an admission advising appointment to start applying to college. However, ECPI does not require entrance exams, which may be very appealing to some applicants.
