Since releasing our first online college rankings in 2009, OnlineU has also been recognized by over 475 colleges as a leader in the online higher education space.

OnlineU was formerly known as Guide to Online Schools until August of 2020, when the website rebranded. All mentions from July 2020 and before will refer to Guide to Online Schools.
