I think SNHU is good for people who are self motivated and able to self teach. I am a senior and I graduate may 2020. My Bs In Healthcare Administration. I would have to say the hardest classes you will take online would be the math classes. Overall you really have to teach yourself how to solve the problems you will face. I will have to agree with the person who said once you reach 300-400 classes you are on your own. By this point you should have the feel for the university and how the classes flow. I feel like I have learned more here than I have learned in a traditional class. Why and How? Research. If you want to learn online it takes a lot research and reading. Every term you write tons of papers. These papers reflect the knowledge you grasp throughout the term. I think it is better than taking a traditional multiple choice question because you have to elaborate on what you think you know..... The teachers vary, some teachers are very interactive. In my level 400 class my finance teacher likes to have conference calls with the students. Some teachers interact more via discussion or email. It all depends on the teacher and your needs. They do not spoon feed you. If you need someone to hold your hand through each class. This is not the place for you to be. Also, if you have trouble with your teacher in any way, the counselors are there to assist you as much as possible. The school is online and pretty much self paced. Assignments are due by Sunday. Ive never seen a teacher say that they do not accept a late assignment especially due to emergency reasons. I had an issue while living in South Carolina due to the hurricane and I had to leave town. My teachers all gave me extra time to catch up with all my work. On top of that my counselor reached out to me to let me know that they would be contacting my teachers about the hurricane. Everyone will have a different experience but I def say go to SNHU if you are self motivated, you want quicker paced classes, and you dont mind reading a lot of material. I plan on returning to the school to work towards my masters program.

Overall, I have had a great experience at this college. I am a junior, and of course, no matter your age we all go through many struggles in life. This semester I was struggling financially taking on a heavier class load…I spoke on the phone with Angela she was very understanding, patient, caring and went absolutely above and beyond to make sure I was able to pay payments whenever I could and how much I could. She is a very sweet blessing in my time at Liberty. Angela should be head of the financial department, things would be better. (:

I have a great experience in GCU, but my journey so far is taking a lot my time for study and to keep my GPA high. I like my professors as they are very responsible and responsive all the time, they are always there to answer my questions regarding to my assignments. I love the fact that GCU world ranking is 758, this makes me feel that my doctoral degree is worthy. I believe that those students who left bad feedbacks about GCU were poor students and unable to pass their courses. I have never had any problems with my consuler as she is calling all the time, following up my progress, and gives so many valuable advices. All my respect GCU

UMUC is a great school. The curriculum is challenging but I believe that overall it forces you to learn the information. I am not happy about that fact that they did away with text books though. I guess this was a decision that was made in order that they can remain competitive with almost all other online colleges who have done away with textbooks. I obtained my associates and bachelors from this school as well. Sometimes the instructors can be a little too strict on the assignments requirements but I think that is actually a good thing. I know some students who have obtained degrees from other online schools and they still don't even know how to format a research paper in APA style. I am grateful for UMUC because when I was on active duty stationed in Iraq and Kuwait, I was able to continue my education with them online. There accessibility to military personnel when they are deployed or otherwise stationed outside of the United States is awesome.

Purdue Global University is the most diverse college in America, which is why I chose it. It also helps students develop professional attitudes, values, and skills that support careers and life. My confidence and communication have been impacted by the caliber of my education. The portal is well-designed; it is simple to use and explore other applications. Every professor has expertise in everything from professional communication to composition 1. I adore their explanations. My decision to pursue a degree program in healthcare administration was influenced more by healthcare leadership, which has helped me network to improve patient care and develop my leadership abilities. As an only child, this program has broken down barriers in my life. The younger generation of black men and women benefits from this because they believe that anything is possible for them. Creating a culture of innovation, resilience, diversity, and inclusion is an intriguing aspect that I find enjoyable. I have learned a lot from all the elective courses that will be useful to me later because of the diversity of the student body and the quality of instruction provided by the professors, I would suggest this college to others.

I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Healthcare Administration from CCU in 2013. This degree program was ideal and perfect for me as a working Dad with 3 children. I graduated from a regionally accredited community college and all my credits were transferable. I found the course work at CCU to be very challenging and applicable to my career. The final exams are open book but don't let that fool you. They are very tough and well structured. I work in corporate America as a Sales Professional in the Healthcare industry. My degree has been accepted with my employer and has allowed me to advance in my career. I've been asked many times from friends if graduating from a non regionally accredited school for a Bachelors was a good idea. My answer is this...value! If someone is willing to pay 50 to 100 grand for a regionally accredited school you better make sure you get solid value for that enourmous cost. For the reasonable cost and for what can be achieved with a DETC Accredited School, CCU makes for a very compelling alternative to expensive regionally accredited institutions.

The GMU Health Informatics Program has given me the in-depth knowledge of clinical information systems and data retrieval as well the most efficient and effective ways for medical personnel to be able to access data for patient treatment. The program is helping me to develop the analytic and critical reasoning skills to improve the health care information systems. Further, the program is helping me be familiar with emerging technologies and prepare me to adopt and to manage evolving health information systems. Most of the classes offered are online so I am unable to work and communicate with students and faculty at GMU, to gain the technical and critical-thinking skills that are necessary to become a health information systems specialist.

Johns Hopkins has pleasantly surprised me with its rigorous academic standards and it is truly a challenging school. My previous education at the University of Michigan and New York University prepared me well but none of those institutions pushed me as a professional or a student as Hopkins. The expectations are sky high at Hopkins and the instructors (nor students) don't settle for second or third best effort. It is a super competitive environment (not to mention the grade deflation) and anyone considering this school must prioritize what they value in life. If social life is important to you then you may want to rethink your academic options. The demands placed upon students is high and it won't leave much time for social life for a while. However, I had made that choice mentally prior to enrolling here by doing homework on the school's rigor (and the main reason I came here) and how I will fit it in the schedule. I came to Hopkins fully prepared to drop the school if it failed to meet my requirements on rigor and challenge me intellectually. It has met all my needs so far and I am enjoying learning and expanding my knowledge at an exponential pace. A grade earned at Hopkins is really a grade "earned" and very likely deflated.

I was connected to the Dean of the Master of Health Science program and immediately the faculty and staff that she referred me to made me feel at home! They want to help you get to where you want to be. They are dedicated! They call frequently to ensure that I am getting the best experience! It is refreshing to have a network and corner that wants to aid in your success. That is exactly what they are there for!

The overall graduate school program here at ETSU is quite exceptional. However, there is always room for improvement. Many of the issues that I think the program has cannot be controlled by the department but more so the university as a whole. One of the issues is technology, after touring many campuses around the region looking for a PhD program, I quickly realized how outdated our technology is here at ETSU. This would take funding to change, but all students would more than welcome it. Another issue that I have seen is transportation. There is not enough, it is too small, and it is uncomfortable. This is, of course, another funding issue. I must brag and say that those two problems are the only ones I have had with the program. I have amazing leaders, my educational experience has been magnificent, and I love this area of Tennessee. I am looking forward to completing my Master’s degree here and moving forward to earn my PhD.
