I will be graduating in January of 2023, and my experience at SNHU has been great. I actually enjoy the way they have the curriculum set up for you for every class. You work towards your end goal of completing each final in a methodic way. I have never experienced that before at any other college. Most of my classmates that I have interacted with during my studies feel the same way. I have read through a few of the negative reviews, and these people give some lame excuses for not completing their degree. I enjoyed my time here, and I plan on pursuing my Master's Degree at SNHU. I hope this helps any potential students.

The Masters in Criminal Justice program with a specialization in Cybercrime Investigations was truly outstanding. This program is unique and one of the few of its kind in the country. The coursework and training provided in this program were comprehensive and in-depth, covering all aspects of cybercrime investigations, from the basics of digital forensics to the latest techniques in cybercrime prevention and detection. The faculty members were experts in the field and provided valuable insights and mentorship to students. Overall, this program was an excellent choice for anyone interested in pursuing a career in cybercrime investigations.

Grand Canyon University is absolutely amazing! I am so glad that I transferred to GCU for my master's program. Two of my counselor's are very helpful and the school has a really good service, so it a 100%. Thanks to my counselor's for helping me achieved my goals. They made adjustments to my schedule to double up my classes and I will graduate in December 2022. I loved the structure of the classes and I find them pretty easy. While I was reading some negative reviews for the school, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Once you are in grad school, you are on your own meaning you have to teach yourself, but it different from undergraduate. There is no videos of professor's lecturing, but you will read articles and videos on your own. I attended Regis University last year starting in October 2021 through December 2021 and I had to teach myself. But GCU is way better compare to Regis University and I would recommend GCU to anyone who would like to further their graduate degree program! I know it a for-profit school, but it super great. I just loved the excellent service and classes are too easy. Trust me!

One thing for sure is acknowledging it was not easy. However, it was indeed a challenging experience. I worked towards my master's degree and holding a full-time job while pregnant came with its obstacles. Moreover, I did not allow those obstacles to affect the goal and purpose of retrieving my master's degree. After my son was born at the beginning of January, finishing up the quarter and preparing for my capstone course was necessary. My professors were understanding and patient with me as well. The capstone course made it all worthwhile. I thoroughly enjoyed reading every week and interacting with my colleagues during discussions. You get a sense of whom the person is academically and professionally, opening your mind to different perspectives. It has been a long journey, and I am proud to say that I completed the capstone course and online program successfully. Do not let outside factors keep you from pursuing your dreams and goals in life; let them motivate you to go further.

Many years ago, I decided that I wanted to become a Lawyer someday, at first I wasn't relatively sure what category of law I wanted to study. From the time when I was born, I lived on a Native American reservation, the area here is rural, and to be honest, there isn't much to do. I often heard stories from my friends who lived in the city talk about going to the mall, movie theatres, and riding the bus in the metropolitan area where they reside. I was a tad jealous of the closeness and convenience of having these enjoyable places nearby. Bearing in mind that the area where I lived, we just had one grocery store, and a gas station. The nearest town is a twenty-minute drive, which has more than the reservation. However, there still is not a mall in sight. As I grew older, I appreciated my surrounding area more, and valued the beautiful stars that I would see every night, since the region wasnt filled with city lights. I had dreams of one day becoming a Tribal Attorney for my Tribe. To get myself prepared for the future and to gain experience, I took the Tribal bar exam and passed. I accepted a position as an Assistant Public Defender which didnt require a bar license or any specific college education. I began to represent tribal adults and juveniles in Court. Initially, I wasnt knowledgeable of necessary trial skills, so it was a learning process. Eventually, I became comfortable in Court and was extremely thankful for my supervisor, who was a bar licensed Attorney, since she allowed me the opportunity. I was also grateful for my Father, who was a former Domestic Violence Attorney for my Tribe, he assisted on any questions I had. Working at the Public Defender's Office for my Tribe was an excellent opportunity. However, I left my job and wanted to continue with higher education. A couple of years down the road I earned a Bachelor's degree with Arizona State University, and hope to continue Law School with my background and experience. I bring a diverse perspective to ASU Law with my experience working in a tribal government, and being able to represent individuals within my Tribe while not being bar licensed. I am glad that I chose Arizona State University to help pave the way on achieving my goals.

I attended Ashford University for my Bachelor's in Social and Criminal Justice. I have nothing but good things to say about this college. All of the instructor's were very helpful, as was the enrollment, financial, and student support offices. I never had any trouble receiving funds and always received responses in a timely manner. I am now continuing my education at Ashford in order to receive my Master's in Forensics. If anyone is thinking of attending this college, rest assured, you are making the right decision.

Iowa Central is a great college to attend online and they do make one work for their grade. My passing grades came from hard work and dedication to the program. A person has to want to make it work, not expect a free degree without working for it. The instructors were extremely friendly and helpful most of the time. Iowa Central's financial aid office gave direct answers and was helpful when their was a question regarding student loans. I am proud that I finished with Iowa Central and glad to be a Triton alumunus.

Although it has been over two decades and prior to the online school craze, the University of Maryland University College set the foundation for where I am today. I started on Campus at College Park but in 8 years of duty in Europe, this program allowed me to complete my undergraduate degree setting the stage for graduate school. Having a wonderful range of professors, especially foreign professors, gave me a wealth of insight into the classes I was taking. Having a Russian professor teach a seminar on Russian history, having President Regan's former National Security advisor teach a class on Terrorism, and a history professor who lived in Israel during the 70's Arab Israeli conflict made the classes far more interesting. This degree was sustainable once I left the military giving me the academic foundation to successfully complete graduate school at the University of Oklahoma and to also gain a Graduate Certificate at the Saint Joseph's University. If I had any complaint it is the fact that getting transcripts after graduation is a little tedious and the University of Maryland at College Park has no records of students who attended the University College division.

Overall my experience was excellent with Columbia Southern. I did get some useful feedback and the academic adviser was easy to work worth. I will say there was a large varying degree of instructors and the strictness in grading. One thing to pay attention to is the accreditation. CSU is a nationally accredited university and if you desire to attend a regionally accredited college there is a very good chance that the regionally accredited school will not accept your transfer request. If you start at a nationally accredited school then you will need to end at a nationally accredited school. You think it is the other way around but this is not true. I was lucky and found a regionally accredited school which accepted CSU's degree so I was able to start my Master's a few months after a graduated. The course work is definitely geared towards professionals and most of the professors were easy to work worth. I had one issue with one instructor and my adviser was very good at communicating with me. I believe CSU is always trying to improve their academic standards so hopefully they will we regionally accredited some day if not already.

ECPI University is a great choice for individuals who work full time and utilize time management. The school provides 3 different schedules that are likely to meet your needs. Morning classes Monday through Thursday, evening classes Monday through Thursday, or a hybrid schedule. The hybrid schedule is two days out of the week. Friday night and Saturday morning, everything else is done online. Utilizing the hybrid schedule I went from no credits to a bachelor's degree in only 2 years and 1 month. I have now transferred to another college to pursue a masters degree and thanks to ECPI University I will have achieved a masters in less than 4 years.

The only review you need - June 2023 After reading the reviews (most of the bad ones are really old) I felt compelled to offer my review having just completed my Bachelor's degree this week. Though CCU is not your traditional college, it definitely has its place in further education. It is super convenient for someone like me who works full-time+, on top of having a two kid family. I was referred to CCU by a former student because I had limited time to complete my degree for an upcoming LT promotional opportunity and their self-paced program was perfect for me. The price was very reasonable too. If you're like me, 25 years into your career and just need that BA/BS degree to promote, this is your best choice. Education Like I said, the timing and class structure are convenient, but it is by no means easy. You still have to read, pay attention, write a lot, and pass the exams. I'm a good writer for the most part, but I did have a couple of papers failed/kicked back because I rushed through them (the feedback from the professor was spot on). So, no you can't just submit anything and pass. It's open book, but still challenging. I actually learned quite a bit at my old age! Staff 5 star staff, you won't convince me otherwise. Debbie during the admissions process, and Taylor my student advisor during my coursework, were outstanding. Communicated often, answered promptly, and were just nice helpful people all around. They didn't just be nice to get me to sign for the money part then leave me out to dry. In fact, the promotional opportunity I talked about came unexpected early, and I needed an unlikely miracle favor. Taylor and each one of my professors were EXTREMELY quick and helpful, and made sure my miracle came true. I have nothing but outstanding things to say about CCU. It opened up a life-changing door for me. I Just bought me a couple T-shirts and a sweatshirt from prep sportswear, that's how proud I am of them!

I am currently enrolled as an online student pursuing a master's degree in criminal justice leadership. I am pleased with the quality of instruction provided by my professors, as they consistently respond to my emails within 48 hours, often even sooner. While I have not had the need to contact them via phone, their responsiveness through email has been commendable. In terms of administrative matters, I have encountered some challenges when dealing with the financial aid and academic office. However, I must acknowledge that they are not without their flaws. Nevertheless, I have found that the chancellor/president ensures prompt responses from them. Overall, I have not encountered any significant issues that would hinder my pursuit of a doctorate degree with National. In fact, I am highly satisfied with my educational experience thus far, to the extent that I intend to pursue a Doctorate in Criminal Justice in Public Administration with National. While I cannot speak for others who may have had in-person experiences, I can confidently say that my online experience has been highly satisfactory. The program has presented me with valuable challenges and has facilitated continuous learning.

I earned my B.Sc. in Criminal Justice from Lamar (Brick and Mortar) and am currently enrolled in their online MBA-Criminal Justice Management degree. Pros: The dorms are fantastic--very private and spacious. Facilities are overall in good condition and clean. Student life and sporting events are available if you want them, but they are not as in-your-face as A&M or UT. Prices are extremely competitive, especially for their online programs. The class sizes are small, so most professors really care about you and take time to answer your questions and get to know you. Their application/enrollment process is streamlined, easy, and fast. Lamar advisors call at least twice a semester to check up on you and make sure your degree progression is running smoothly. Their MBA program is AASCB accredited which is a very prestigious accreditation. The LU PD are present and respond quickly to disorder and crime on campus. Cons: While some online classes are thought provoking and engaging, others have an extremely heavy workload and have absent professors who do the bare minimum (30-40% of classes are like this). Crime in the surrounding area is relatively high, so be cautious if you are off campus at night. Their engineering program (which I dropped out of in 2015) was chock full of disengaged, tenured professors who simply read a powerpoint and did not care about student success. Their criminal justice and business programs, on the other hand, are staffed by experienced professionals who personally helped me find internships. Overall Lamar is a high-quality public university. I had a job waiting for me after college and almost all of my classmates had jobs waiting for them upon graduation or were hired within a few months. This institution has enhanced my life by gaining me many close friends and wonderful memories, raising my salary, and making me highly employable. I highly recommend that you consider this school.
