Degree: Human Resources

I am an Educator, U.S. Navy Veteran and a Scholar (M.Ed) who graduated with a 3.8 GPA from Webster University back in May of 2016 with a MA Degree in Human Resource Management. I am a member of Golden Key International Honor Society, The Society for Collegiate Leadership and Achievement and Sigma Beta Delta (International Honor Society). I thoroughly enjoyed my HR graduate program with Webster and highly recommend their institution. I just found out Congress Woman Val Demings is a Webster Alumni,... Read More

Degree: MBA in Marketing

I was brought to this website from my alumnae. I, like so many others, am so angry at this Webster as I was misled at every step of the way! My Webster MBA was simply a total waste of time and over $33,000 (not including opportunity costs and lost income). The courses were book-led (comprised of reading 15 easy chapters and taking 2 tests), the teachers were "instructors" and not professors (only 2 of mine had PHD's and all were low level employees at local companies and not Experts), and the rehash... Degree: Human Resources

I earned a Master of Arts in Human Resources Development. The program challenged me and I enjoyed it. I used my capstone project to secure a doctoral studies position and have been accepted into a program. Thank you to all my excellent professors and classmates! I must say though, the program is what you make it. if you aren't willing to put in the hard work you probably will be disappointed in the outcome.

Degree: Instructional Technology

I completed the Webster University MET completely online. Overall, my experience with Webster University was positive. First I had an exceptional advisor that worked with me throughout the program. Once I was accepted he asked me how many classes I wanted to take per semester--after that I was enrolled every semester for my required classes. He responded to questions quickly, provided great advice, and genuinely seemed interested in me as a person and student. As for the Professors during the courses,... Read More

Degree: Business

This is a self-study degree with minimal input from instructors. The course catalog has many courses listed but many courses are no longer offered or not offered online. The course content or agendas (exams, papers, projects, textbooks plus other online reading materials) are not known until already enrolled and the first day or class or later.

Degree: Management

I disagree with most of the comments on these reviews. I had a great experience at Webster. I took classes at a satellite campus in Colorado, as well as online. My M.A. in Management and Leadership taught me principles I use every day in my military profession.

Degree: MBA

I did my research before applying to business school, and I am very pleased that I went with Webster University. The 1-year accelerated MBA program was a big challenge. The university ensured the same curriculum in the regular MBA program mirrored the 1-year program, as it should. Classes ran one right after the other, and there was only a two week break over the Christmas holiday, but I'm very happy with my experience. My cohort classmates were successful working professionals and offered a great... Read More
