Is the University of Central Florida Online?

Yes, UCF is online, and it offers online degrees and certificates at all levels. For example, there are over 20 online bachelor's degrees and 35 minor options to choose from that are all 100% online. Popular online bachelor's degrees include psychology, criminal justice, and anthropology. Online undergraduate students can also choose from unique minors, such as creative writing, religion, American Indian studies, and medical sociology. However, these online degrees are degree completion programs requiring a minimum of 12 transfer credits to enroll.

Are Online Degrees From the University of Central Florida Respected by Employers?

Employers respect UCF's online degrees because an accredited institution confers them. UCF is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate, baccalaureate, master's and doctorate degrees, and certificates.

Accreditation is important because it means a school routinely goes through an intensive review process that evaluates its financial practices and the quality of its academic programming. If accreditation is conferred, it means the school keeps its promises to students and they can transfer credits from one institution to another.

OnlineU only includes accredited online schools on its site.
