Union Institute & University

The actual program and professors were fantastic, dealing with financial aid and communication within departments is abysmal. I have had enormous difficulty in getting through to financial aid to approve my loan for the year and I was supposed to receive a 4 term scholarship, but they did not communicate details to me and I am not going to be able to receive the last term of my scholarship for reasons that I was not aware of up front. It was frustrating enough to make me regret choosing Union Institute... Read More even with how great the program was.

This school has a great program to advance to the Masters in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling. I had attended another college prior to Union. It did not have the program I needed to advance to. I was advised by a friend to apply and I am very impressed with the degree programs. I have wanted to become a clinical and mental health counselor since I took my first psychology class in high school. I am a parent of two, I work full time, and I am a student. I cannot attend a normal degree program... Read More and succeed. This school has a degree program that allows me to participate in the lectures, discussions, and assignments. It is the same as in the classroom - without having to actually be IN the classroom. It is an excellent school and one I would recommend to anyone interested in the program.
