Yes, TU is online. In fact, the NCES shows that approximately 29% of undergraduates and 36% of graduate students participate in TU's online-only programs. TU offers about three dozen degrees at the associate, bachelor's, and master's degree levels. 

The majority of online coursework is in education and healthcare. For example, aspiring nurses can complete an online RN-BSN, while others interested in medicine can complete an online bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science. Teachers seeking career advancement can earn online master's degrees in teacher leadership or curriculum and instruction — only two among the 10 online graduate degrees in education TU offers.

Many consider TU a good school because it's accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate, baccalaureate, master's and doctorate degrees, and certificates. This accreditation status signifies that SACSCOC finds TU's financial practices sound and that its academic programming meets federal quality standards. Additionally, several of its degrees are programmatically accredited by nationally-recognized industry associations.

TU is known for being a military-friendly school. Its Center for Military Life (CMil) welcomes and supports active-duty service members and veterans, helping them from pre-enlistment to integrating back into civilian life.
