The faculty members I encountered were first rate. It was no problem to contact them and normally a reply was almost instantaneous. Course work was the same as for day students. Testing was done under the watch of an approved supervisor. I watched classes live and was able to be in touch with the teacher through the software. For my experience I would recommend the University of Tennessee-Knoxville for online study.
