Read More that they will have to do work outside of the classroom to really bridge the gap between college and being able to work in their desired field. In every class you will have to do discussions, replies, and a final which could be a test, project, or paper. The professors that I had were a mixed bag just like any other university I went to. Some went above and beyond while others did the bare minimum. After a few classes, I noticed that the classes all had a very similar structure to them. This school is largely what you make of it. This school financial services representatives has been kind to me every time I called. I understood that this school was in the business of making money and I knew this school was way more expensive than going to my local state university. My tip with perspective students and current students is to keep track of their financial aid, financial aid rules, GI bill, employer grants, and other forms of payments that the students may be using. I would also recommend taking transferable classes on Sophia, and StraighterLine. To help reduce the cost and getting done with your degree sooner. Academic advisors change all the time. So I did not really develop any type of relationship with any of my advisors. This school is regionally accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission at the time of me writing this review. Which is fantastic for me because that is all I needed to have to enter the field of software engineer. Beware that this school may not be for you if you need to sit for licenses like teaching and accounting. A degree from UAGC has help me in my earnings because before I started going here I was making next to minimum wage in a field I did not like. Now I am a software engineer now able to fully support myself with the help of UAGC!

I must say that my dissertation chair was absolutely phenomenal. Other than one or two poor instructors, the coursework was excellent. I especially enjoyed the on-site weekend classes and the opportunity for specialization. My degree enabled me to teach at the university level. I am very happy with the doctoral experience at what is now UAGC and certainly recommend it if you are willing to work hard and have the will and stamina to spend six years in an intense academic environment.
