What Is SAGU Known For?

SAGU is known for being a school steeped in the Assemblies of God Church faith. Christian instructors teach all its programs so students will receive a "rigorous Christian education" and that "worship is a priority." SAGU courses are taught from a Christian worldview that integrates faith with learning. More specifically, undergraduate general education curriculum requires students to develop five competencies, including articulating knowledge of Scripture and Christian theology and demonstrating Christ-centered practices in their interpersonal relationships. Students must complete 18 credit hours of general biblical studies to achieve these goals.
