First, let's address the elephant in the room... I see a few low-star reviews. Unfortunately, your education will only be as good as the effort you put into it. If you see an assignment and only do the bare minimum to get the grade, that's what you will have. You must be a self-starter and study the material to grasp the information thoroughly. Read More SNHU allowed me to go back to school regardless of my age. Everyone seemed to want me to succeed, and it showed. Instructors are easy to work with, though not at your beckon call. Surely your in-person instructors do not spend every waking moment waiting on your call? Like everything else in life... SNHU is what you make of it. I personally give them 5*!!!

SNHU has been great for a 52 year old returning to College. Felxibility and course content is good. With any online or campus College you will have good and bad instructors. I grauduate soon and only had one instructor I felt could have been more interactive. For me, I would rather be at home learning than sitting in a classroom where each of us read a page out of a chapter. Yes, online is more self taught but you only get out what you put into it. When I attended College 30 years ago, I thought that was a joke as all we did was sit there and read chapters and then had a quiz. Be prepared to do alot of writting and essays at SNHU. I prefer the essay as I learn more than just memorizing information for a quiz but to each thier own. Everyone learns differently.

Absolutely terrible, I dropped out! Unorganized and very unprofessional advisors, financial aide team. This school is all about numbers not about quality. They isn’t any professors/teachers. You read and do everything by yourself basically you are your own professor. Online system to do your school is overly clunky, outdated, and designed to waste your time with so many unnecessary clicks, tuition is high, and your Sophia credits classes are $700+ dollars cheaper then your actual classes but aren’t... Read More accepted hardly by any other colleges. Not to mention when you do get accepted you’re pretty much on your own from day one. No guidance at all and the so called professors can’t be bothered to help. You have to watch YouTube videos (yes actual videos on YouTube) to learn out to use their system because the teachers can’t even be bothered to walk you through it.

My experience with SNHU was a positive one in every way. I loved the courses I took through SNHU. The professors I had were great, highly qualified, and gave needed help or direction when needed. I would reach out and they always responded and gave feedback. I had a fantastic counselor and I used their online tutoring for a few classes. Tutors are available 24/7 and extremely helpful. The Professors at this school are all different, what I mean is that you do the work in these classes with zero feedback and your work may or may not be wrong then you start a different course and your work is all wrong. You go from one class getting an A to the next getting F because there is zero guidance from SNHU Professors. SNHU is laughable and I highly suggest if you want an actual education look elsewhere. I am currently enrolled in this school and deeply regret my choice of ever coming here.... Read More I did not get a good education here, I am now doubting my work as a graduate level student. I wish I had Professors correcting my work and giving me feedback, if you work off of feedback don't apply at SNHU. Avoid SNHU at all cost.
