SNHU is a for-profit treadmill that coaxes you on and refuses to let you off. They signed me up for classes without telling me, took out loans in my name when I specifically told them not to, then they waited until after the first term ended to tell me I needed to sign their loan forms because they'd already spent the money on my previous term. They continued to take out loans in my name while most of my grant funding went untouched. When I went to admissions to ask for a break because I was incredibly... Read More

Everything I've seen so far at SNHU is on par academically with my previous experiences receiving my bachelor's from a well-known public university (UCF), and my master's from a respected art & design school (MICA). SNHU is a brick-and-mortar school, just like many other universities, but with the advantage of a refined online instruction format taught by professionals in their field. In addition, the courses being designed and broken down into modules and clear deliverables make it easier to build... Read More

As an active student in a master's program, I can confirm that it is a waste of time. Not only will students gain more from a general Google search, but the adjunct professors are nearly all inadequate. Be prepared to scrutinize your writing by someone who can barely compose a proper article and have zero support from your advisor.

Felt good about the quality and level of difficulty that I experienced for each course. Yes, they have good instructors and a few bad instructors as well. However, the hood by far out weighs the bad. I am going back for my Masters degree in Accounting for this fall. This school is not a diploma mill. Online is tougher because you have to be willing to put in the work, but you still have to meet the deadlines just like you would if you were in a face to face course.

I completed my MSN in Nursing Education all online and finished my capstone virtually at SNHU. SNHU was the best decision I've made for my education and career success. I was empowered by another graduate student I worked alongside as a practical nursing instructor, which led me to look further into SNHU's graduate program. For sure, SNHU has provided me with a quality education to exhibit a maximized level of expertise to teach the next generation of nurses. Throughout the program, I completed all... Read More

One of the strengths of SNHU's computer science program is its focus on hands-on learning. This school is a joke! They do not care about their students I received extra funding from financial aid for the 2022-2023 school year when I did my 2023-2024 fasfa I noticed that the extra funding given was no longer on my statement so I called the school and asked about it because it is first distributed to the school then they are supposed to distribute it to students with the most financial need however the school informed me no matter how much financial distress a student might be in that campus... The financial aid department is incredibly slow at processing refunds due to slow integration systems. It always a process when it comes to anything that the school owes you. They have their hands in the pot too much and like to spoon-feed you your funding as opposed to other schools. My overages have been in my account for two days, Tuesday is a Holiday. Extensive technical problems, they are starting to care less and less about the student experience. Buyer beware!

Degree: Business Administration

SNHU has been a great choice for me while pursuing a business administration degree. From the start the flexibility of online courses is convenient if you are a full-time working adult. I will say that the learning environment is one where you have to be motivated to do the reading and research yourself on topics to produce quality projects/outcomes for your classes. This is an excellent choice for those that are self-starters at things and need very little outside help. The professor's that I've... Read More

SNHU promotes itself as being above the fray of other online schools, but it's the same: the educational experience is centered around a blackboard with automated discussion questions that are not designed by the "instructor," an instructor who doesn't lecture, not even a videotaped lecture. Essentially the instructor baby sits the class by grading papers they don't appear to read and responding to students' emails. This school hires instructors to satisfy the US Department of Education's requirement,... Read More
