Don’t go to this school. You’ll def regret it. And by the time you do you’ll be so far in that transferring would be difficult. They lie from the beginning about how soon you’d graduate. They don’t help you take courses that are geared to your path and what you want to be and do just what brings them money.. They lie about the scholarships and the availability of them. The disability department doesn’t help. And don’t let them know your experiencing homelessness/disaster of any kind and need extra... Read More

Very disappointed with the school business practices. I was three classes away from graduating with my Masters when I received documentation that I will not be receiving financial aid to not meeting "SAP" requirements. Was informed I was in my degree plan too long. Mind you, I changed majors after (1) year, achieved a different degree within (3) re-enrolled back into the program and was informed that I'm not eligible for financial aid as a senior with "3" classes left. How can time be counted against... Read More

school includes many excellent and supportive professors, however, the school limits your to standard practice. The entrance forms ask you if you are a Christian, but they do not for any level of commitment to religion. Such commitment will develop during the learning process as everything is integrated and steered towards one expectation where original thought becomes isolated. Every assignment includes biblically inclined content that ignores those who do not have the ability to fall into such... Read More

I'll start this review by explaining that I am Active Duty military and all of my classes my be approved in AFVEC and funded by tuition assistance through the base education office. Regent University is not my first school, I completed three years of consistent, online education and had none of the issues that I am about to blame on Regent. Avoid this school at all costs if you are Active Duty military I have been active duty for 19 years. I have pursued higher education via online college since... Read More

Online grad student in two departments because I changed my major. Instructors were OK to good. Admin was a nightmare. This school doesn't have to resources for the number of students it tries to maintain. 30-45 minute waits for a admission/ FA counselor on the phone who talks to you like a used car salesman and then says "Sorry, can't help you," and the business office won't even talk to you. Very poorly run school.

Where do I begin? I was an online student in the MDiv program, and it was the worst experience of my life. Each class is crammed into 8 weeks when it's clear most classes were meant to take a semester. When I asked for extensions on my assignments, I was never granted enough time, because there are no breaks between terms, and I had to finish my makeup work in addition to my new classes. There was never enough time. The school advertises its online courses as convenient, but it hasn't actually been... Read More

Just starting my third year, and I have mostly good things to say. Instructors are knowledgeable, classes are appropriately difficult (except stats. That one's a nightmare though the instructor is top notch. There's just so much material!). And the program is trying hard to move me along to the next stage. I'm a self-starter, and this program has a lot of opportunity for people who don't need hand-holding every step of the way. The only really hateable part of this program is the insistence on "discussion... Read More

I applied to Regent University thinking it would be better compared to the regular universities I attended. I was wrong. You get several of the same classes with different names, but with the same work as a credit. I was dismissed due to having a year of Job due to Covid, and no matter how many times I tried to appeal, I was told it was incomplete. Rest assured, once dismissed you are not a profit to them, they don't answer emails and carry a sense of disdain if you speak with them. Don't waste your... Read More

A GARBAGE SCHOOL Nothing but a nightmare from the get go. For registration, they had several boxes to check in one section regarding financial aid. There was no spot to check VOC REHAB. Therefore, I couldn´t register. Over 15 phone calls and emails and no corrective action taken, yet daily, I was bombarded with register or you won´t get in this semester. I finally sent a heated reply and as I found out is typical when you point out their abject failures, "Yo aren´t a good Christian." I accepted that... Read More

I am an online student. Regent University, where to start? I am currently a Senior at Regent; I am using VA Vocational Rehabilitation Chapter 31. I will start with the military aspect of the school. I am not sure if it is my Voc Rehab counselor fault or the school's military advisors, but 90 credits later, I am still paying for books while both sides claim the other is at fault. I have missed semester check-in twice due to slow billing. It was a good thing they held my classes. I currently have a... Read More
