I'm currently in the RN-BSN program, and it isn't very good. It seems like many online professors have not been close to the bedside in over 10+ years because the assignments they assign have little application to actual bedside nursing or any nursing field, for that matter. . One of the first classes also made it mandatory to provide "art projects" and (no joke) even suggested we finger paint. Maybe it's just me, however, no doctor or experienced provider will take me or my profession seriously, let alone see my profession as respectable, if they knew nurses were finger painting. This program is insufferable, and I regret staying and finishing in the program.

I began my attendance at Nevada State College prior to my decision to enter the nursing field. After my admittance into the competitive nursing program I have had nothing but great experiences at Nevada State. The class sizes are smaller than most other colleges which allows for a great one on one time with professors and a real personalized education. The nursing program allows for great opportunities during clinical hours because of the downsized class size. It allows for plenty of hands on experience.... Read More The professors really care about the growth, development and progress of their students. They work extremely hard to make sure everyone is prepared for their future NCLEX. I am unbelievably satisfied with my choice to attend NSC.
