DO NOT TRUST THIS SCHOOL! I never graduated from Keiser because I ran the first chance I got. I started with Keiser in 2018 and was super excited to go into their online Clinical Mental Health Counseling program for a Masters Degree. They hyped up everything about their school and told me how awesome it would be to go into the online program because I work full time and this was a "do at your own pace". They of course explained that things still had certain due dates and that is to be expected. What... Read More they never mentioned to me was that there was a mandatory scheduled video session for each class weekly and it was like sitting in a classroom, only the instruction through this system sucked. If I wanted to (or had time to) attend classes, I would have found an on campus program to go through, but I specifically chose Keiser due to their online program. Not only did the scheduled video times not work for me but they leave a total disadvantage for learning, in my honest opinion. It was unorganized and the interaction between both the peers and the teacher was uneasy/uncomfortable. For a student who is more shy or does not speak out directly, to try and get a comment in was difficult and their was no "hand raising" like you would find in a normal classroom setting. Also, if you missed a class or did not "participate" in a class, meaning you didn't get a chance to speak or say something, you got a failing grade towards the video participation which was a big chunk of your grade. Also, the due dates they mentioned were rather unreasonable, even for a masters program. I really did not attend this school for very long as the first class meeting was a major red flag, so I withdrew asap. Now, amidst the unfortunate circumstances we are in during COVID, Keiser had a bill collector call me, demanding that I pay them over $6,000. FOR WHAT?! I did not waste their time nor did I waste any of their resources, but they definitely wasted mine because I didn't even get my degree (or really attend their school) and now they want money that I don't have. I shouldn't owe them a single cent but to try and get them off my back, I attempted to offer $3,000 (which is being gifted to me becuase I don't even have that) and instead of giving me an answer, they have put me off for several weeks (despite my numerous annoying phone calls to them). Now, if I don't start paying the $6,000 they are guna mark my credit report negatively. And you know the best part? I still never received a single bill from Keiser. They're just a bunch of liars who want to take your money, so if you want to waste it on them, be my guess, but I would advise against it.

The worst decision I made was to transfer to Keiser University. Within 4 months of my enrollment, I was already $9,000 in debt for student loans. This school hindered my academic success in so many ways. During my initial on the phone orientation, the counselor stated that the school would “help me find a job within my career choice.” It was untrue. Something that I found to be incredibly shady, was the fact that they make you take a quiz based on your experience with enrolling in the school. They... Read More will send the quiz back to u repeatedly, if u don’t mark the answers that benefit them. There were many discrepancies from the very beginning. Another example of how dishonest the staff members of the school are, is the fact that they make it seem like everything is covered by grants/loans. Think again! They make you pay a lot of extra stuff. As far as the actual educational content from professors, I’ll give it a 8/10. Professors are quite flexible for the most part, and cover essential material. The school allows you to take one class per month, and the number of classes you are allowed to take increases depending on your academic performance. I would reccomend exploring all possible options in order to avoid going to this school.

Do not waste your time with Keiser. I previously earned two degrees with Keiser in 2011. I was suppose to graduate in May with a Bachelors in Health Science. I believe they changed staff since 2011. Ive never had a problem with them til now. Nearing my last semester, I was told my financial aide ran out and I now had 2 semesters left when I was initially told I had 1 left. Read More set a payment plan to pay out of pocket, everyone had a different answer. My tuition amount changed to a higher amount everytime I contacted them. They never had a straight forward answer and would take days to get back to me. Not only that, when I logged into my portal, I see I was enrolled for 2 Bachelors, which is probably the reason why my aide ran out! I never enrolled for another Bachelors! They just want to milk your money and time. And now they blocked me to request my transcripts!

This school has to be the worst school I have ever attended. I literally feel like if I have been stolen from. The teachers don't go by their syllabus and no one cares. I tried to reach out to my program chair and no one wanted to help me until it now resulted in me withdrawing and not only to find out that FIU doesn't accept their credits anyways. Read More 2,000 just to leave the school and I only attended class for 2 weeks so I am basically getting charged 1,000 per week. Additionally, im not even sure now if they will accept my AA its the worst school ever. I now how to pay for a class I have learned nothing in and the teacher failed to teach me. They drained me with money and now I have to pay double the consequences because I have to try to find a good school which will accept my credits.

I really like Keiser University eCampus. The classes are fast paced and dedication is required. My professors are always willing to help and give feedback on any assignment I turn in. Every week in grade book you can check your grades and read a comment from your professor. These comments are usually an opportunity for the instructor to give you feedback on how well you are doing or how to improve your work. I have emailed my professors questions and always got a reply within 24 hours. The work load... Read More is always bearable and if you encounter a problem a dean is just a phone call away. Keiser University eCampus had been a true blessing and wonderful experience so far. I would recommend this school to anyone who wants a great education and a great experience. I work two jobs and have a family to take care of on top of attending school and have no problems keeping up with the easy to use Blackboard system. Each assignment is posted with deadlines and instructions as well as a message board to interact with your classmates every week. I usually get most of my assignments done with in 3 days so I can focus on the other aspects of my life the rest of the week. Stay focussed and chose the right school for your needs. If what I said about Keiser sounds good then check it out, if not I wish you the best in finding what works for your needs. Every school isn't perfect for every student. Keiser works for me and many others.

Whoever is considering to go to school and get an education, Congratulations! That is a big step towards your career, future. Keiser University was truly a wonderful experience for me. DO NOT attend Keiser! DO NOT!!! First, they are ridiculously expensive!!! 6 thousand dollars a semester??????? What the heck was I thinking. Florida International University costs less than that for a YEAR! You can also attend community colleges and not get ripped off like this! I attended for only 3 months, took 3 classes and now they are charging me for the whole semester (6K). The online classes are TERRIBLE. You get in thinking you will have online classes right? No, what you get is your teacher... Read More telling you to read, read, read and then you have assignments. You literally learn on your own. There are no classes with the actual professor. Nothing. If you understand and learn, good for you, if you don't, oh well... Be also careful that if you ever decide to leave, you will not be able to to attend any other school until you have fully paid them. They will not release your official transcript even if you had set up a payment plan with them and other schools won't let you attend without receiving the official transcript from Keiser!!! Run away from this University! They do not provide a service that would justify such high price!
