My experience at Herzing School of Nursing has been amazing- starting with my recruiter, Marice. He was very knowledgeable of the program and really persuaded me this college was a great option. My enrollment coordinator, Javier reached out to me several times during admissions, and even checked on me when I was in the hospital having a procedure during my first week of classes! My advisor, Sam, has always helped direct me and has amazing communication skills and work ethic. My clinical advisor,... Read More

This is a self-study college. If you can't pass or be prepared for exams, boards, clinicals, or your career, it is certainly not the fault of this school. They provide all the tools necessary to be successful. The teachers are very diligent and encouraging, admissions was a cake walk and the online education is excellent. I am saving thousands of dollars going to Herzing University, online PMHNP. There are plenty of tutors available if needed, an online library and database or research, and financial... Read More

I am a current student at Herzing University and graduate this December. I have been very satisfied with this program and have been surprised to see some of the negative reviews. I’ve done some researching and noticed that Herzing does have a high number of students who qualify to get into the various nursing programs. However, with such high open enrollment, there will be more students who are not prepared, or willing to do the work to be successful. Rather, they like to blame the school rather... Read More

Many programs are online. The instructors guide the must knows. You get all the materials you need to self study and have resources and instructors when you need help. Ignore the idiot that said they were suing, they will fail. This school easily meets the minimum requirements set by their accrediting agencies. I aimed for a 4.0 GPA to make sure I was taking out the necessary information for boards. I enjoy my instructors, some are better than others but finding good educators is difficult these... I am passing with zero concern, but I want to warn other students… you learn absolutely nothing here… you will not be prepared after graduation unless you are able to teach yourselves… the leadership would rather defend their program than improve it and a group of us are filing a compliant with each of our states against them… again we are all passing, but we are all teachers ourselves who feel that students deserve better!!!! Find a local college who cares about you!!!!

This school is nothing short of a diploma mill. There is no consistency with grading, the curriculum is a generic program they purchased and is laden with countless grammatical errors. Lectures are 10-15-year-old YouTubes from random channels that oftentimes have nothing to do with healthcare, and they plagiarize published journals and books for assignment topics, passing these things off as their own without citations or recognition. It is appalling what goes on at this "university".

The tuition is not worth it. Herzing focuses more on getting your money than providing you a quality education. The textbook they provide for my major is very broad and doesn’t explain things all the way through. I mostly learn from YouTube and textbooks that I found through my own research. The only pros I have about this school is that it’s kind of flexible and very independent. If I had to go back in time, I would not choose to attend this school. But hey…I’m already in debt.

I recommend this school if you choose to really cut down your hours at work or even better, do not work at all. Although the program states that you can work and go to school, it is almost impossible if you have a job and have a family. The amount of hours you need to put in to actually get a good grade, will be worth it if you have no family or 3 day/job to worry about.

From the student advisors through enrollment to financial aid and class work, the work through was awesome. I learnt about Telehealth 5+ years from this school ahead of it coming into play. I am back in 2021 for some more ~ my PMHNP certification. Great 😇 job HU!!!!!!
