The Social Work program at Florida Atlantic University was beyond what I expected it to be. I was and continue to be extremely impressed by the faculty in the School of Social Work at FAU. One thing I really appreciated about the program was the level... Read More of competence most of the School of Social Work professors had. Many of them were adjunct, so they also had full-time jobs in the field. The most I got out of my courses came from the real-world experiences that were described to us by our professors. The instructors always answer emails promptly and most provide their cell phone numbers in a case that texting them would be appropriate. The staff usually introduce themselves and prefer to be addressed by their first names. I never had the same adviser twice, and none of them know how to help me.
I completed my undergraduate studies in Accounting at Florida Atlantic University and loved it so much when I thought about returning to do my Masters degree 8 years later I knew I would it with FAU. The teachers are very knowledgeable with their subjects... Read More and there is a diversity of the students attending. They encourage group projects and networking with other students and constantly post career opportunities. After I completed my bachelor degree with FAU, I received a 5% raise with my company and soon thereafter was able to get a promotion due to my experience and my education.
