Online master's degrees include math, educational administration, MSN programs in clinical nurse leader and nurse educator, and information technology management.

Are Online Degrees From CMU Legitimate?

Yes, CMU online degrees are legitimate because an accredited institution confers them. Employers also respect them.

To provide the most trustworthy results, OnlineU only features accredited online institutions.

CMU is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, an institutional accreditation agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. This accreditation status signifies that HLC finds CMU's financial practices sound and that its academic programming meets federal quality standards. Many of CMUs degrees are also programmatically accredited because the curriculum meets industry standards.

What Is CMU Known For?

Founded in 1854, CMU is known for its long-standing relationship with the Wesleyan church. It is the only university in Missouri affiliated with the United Methodist. CMU weaves Methodist values throughout its academic programming in support of communication, curiosity, and community. However, students of all faiths are welcome. CMU values diversity and recognizes that the differences between people are assets to its community.

While CMU is a religious institution, it only requires three credit hours of religious study to fulfill general education requirements. This requirement is minimal compared to many other faith-based schools.

It's recommended that students provide entrance exam scores, such as the SAT and ACT, though it's not required.

This school is a joke. The advisors are terrible, not helpful and rude. The financial aid department are not forthcoming and string you along. I would never recommend this school to anyone ever. They are a joke. They should have federal funding taken away from them.

Online RN-BSN Program is awesome! It was very flexible and really affordable compared to other schools I looked into. I shopped around before making my decision. The application was free and I was immediately connected to someone that helps you. This program is challenging and I felt very rewarded once I completed. I had a lot of support from my advisor and professors the entire time.
