Excellent teaching crew and materials. It is a research-based school with a real-life business strategy. Their self-paced learning format puts you in control. Good Tech support 24/7, online library, Career center, Learning and study strategy tools. Good Enrollment counselors, Academic coaches, and Scholar-practitioner faculty.

My admission advisor Edlin Ortiz helped me through the process. Keeping up with school work and having a full-time job is manageable and if I need help I make sure to ask the friendly staff at C.I.U. They are good at guiding me in the best direction.

California Intercontinental University is an excellent military-friendly institution. However, this review is focused on the faculty, the face of the institution. I have completed 8 terms with 6 different professors and the unequaled standout has been Dr. Barbara Lennard. She challenged me both academically and personally, and I am truly inspired and appreciative of her attentiveness. She has a wide knowledge of the subject material and is very encouraging of her students. One particular interaction... Read More

The education I received from California Intercontinental University was superb and well worth the time and effort. The professors and administrative staff were very helpful. From the very first course through the Dissertation phase the experience was indeed life changing, satisfying and worthwhile. I highly recommend CIU.

I earned my Doctorate degree from California Intercontinental University in May 2018. I feel the course materials were rigorous and challenging. The dissertation and defense portion of the doctoral process allowed me to experience the rigors of deep reasesrch. I feel the education and support I received at CIU was well worthwhile. I recommend the course to anyone having doctoral aspirations. The university also supported me financially by recognizing my military contribution.

I earned my Doctorate of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship and Business Management in 2018. I found the course material challenging, rewarding and I received an education that I did not expect. I had many options but I selected CIU because they were one of the few universities that had a DBA with a concentration in Entrepreneurship . . . a very wise decision I made. I recommend CIU to any self motivated scholar who possesses the discipline to go through an online program. I loved this experience... Read More

I earned my Doctorate of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship and Business Management in 2016. I found the course material challenging and I must admit that I learned a great deal. I had many options but I selected CIU because they were one of the few schools that had a DBA with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. I'm glad that I did! The instructors were very helpful and the support staff was readily available. I would recommend CIU to any self motivated student with the discipline to go... Read More

This school was excellent. It was a tough road to get a DBA and after over 320 papers and a Dissertation, I got it. I feel like I learned a ton and I feel like it was a first rate education. My undergrad MS was from an Ivry League school and I have been in some senior roles in corporations and government. What I learned at CIU was no less rewarding (and no less rigorous) than the MEng, MS, MA, and BS that I have. I think the instructors are first class and the doctoral advisors are completely committed.... Read More

I have been a student since 2011 working on my doctorate degree. Once you get to the point of writing your dissertation the support is almost non-existent. Every revision I would submit took about 2 weeks or more to be reviewed with almost little or no feedback. I definitely would not recommend this school to anyone, there are much better options out there.

When I began my studies with CalU, the school did not have a school code, therefore, no financial aid. The school set me up with an interest-free, pay-as-you-go, tailored to my financial situation. The accreditation and school code was issued as I completed my Doctorate degree. Despite that, I have no regrets and I enjoyed the journey. I highly recommend this distance learning institution for those considering taking online classes. Dr. E. W. C., DBA
