I’ve read through the comments and felt compelled to write an accurate review from the perspective of a 28 year old, married with three children, disabled veteran and full time employee. I’ve seen quite a few reviews saying that “the program is not meant... Read More for working adults...” I’ll be the first to tell you that it is. If you have the work ethic, you can absolutely achieve a degree. There were times I would have to get up around 4-5AM, before the kids were up, just so I could complete assignments. As far ASU, I actually transferred back to ASU because I found it truly challenging to attend another institution in person. The flexibility of ASU’s platform is really what allowed me as a non-traditional student to graduate. The classes can be challenging and the shift from Blackboard to Canvas was a god send. I enjoyed my time there. The only fault I have with ASU, is their finance department/veteran benefit department. It practically feels non existent. I’ve had periods that were not certified until a week before the course was over. Just remember, the only support you have (from what I’ve experienced) is yourself. You will have to be a self starter to get your work done and address any institutional issues.

This college has changed my life exponentially. Read More the online program. The online platform is wonderful for watching lectures and discussing material with fellow students and the professors. Responses are quick and helpful from the professors and the truly are there to help the students succeed. Additionally, the college assigns students to "Success Coaches" which are available to help talk about anything you need varying from budgeting to mental health resources. Tutoring is available for all subjects and the library resource allows students to read and use academic articles, journals, and books for free. I recommend this college to everyone who is considering applying for a new school; I also plan on continuing with my education through their multitude of programs. If you need to speak with a counselor and you will be overwhelmed with the friendly and helpful nature of all of them. I can't praise this school enough, it is an amazing place to be; I am proud to be an Arizona State alumni.

Arizona State University's online program has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. The program has allowed for me to challenge myself in time management and self delegation. Although, the basic college experience is not for everyone. I am a full time worker, I live on my own, and I support myself at least 90% financially. ASU online allowed for me to obtain an education, while assuring that my other needs were met. The schedule is nearly up to the student, as long as they meet deadlines. You are not alone online. The professors always provided excellent assistance and support, showing constant excitement for what they were teaching. The students in all classes provide a sense of belonging, as ultimately you all are "there" for the same purpose. The psychology program itself was so intriguing. I learned so much and fell in love with the subject. It helped me decide what I wanted to do with myself upon graduation. I have also enjoyed the staff and the program so much that I have decided to persue my education further through ASU's M.S. Psychology program. I am beyond excited and I would of course recommend this to anyone who is looking for an alternative schooling option!
