West Texas A&M is a great school for agriculture and that is its start player. It has great choices though for other degrees and is very flexible for scheduling. If you work full time a lot of the programs are offered online. Also there are a range of times for classes to be able to plan around.

I think that WTAMU was a great experience for me. I moved to the Amarillo area to a relocation of my husband for work. It was also a less expensive way to obtain my degree and online classes were not available so i had limited choices. The professors were very helpful and knowledgeable and set me up for great success in my career. I am proud of my degree at WTAMU

West Texas A&M was an amazing university to attend. The small class sizes and small campus lead to a very hometown feeling. The professors were always more than willing to work with you and help you outside of class time. They would make sure you understand the content and were getting the most of your education. The education department was fantastic and left me feeling super prepared to lead my own classroom.

Degree: Psychology

West Texas A&M is a smaller university in the Texas A&M System located in the Texas Panhandle. Due to their smaller size, the education I received was more personalized and catered to me and my interests. I enjoyed the smaller class sizes compared to what you would find in larger universities, and I felt that the professors really cared about the students interests and futures. If I had one complaint, it would be that the university did not receive enough funding for research not only in the Psychology... Read More

West Texas A&M University provided a unique and fulling experience while I was an undergrad. While it is a smaller campus that just barely exceeded a total student enrollment of 10,000 students, there are numerous student organizations for almost everyone. As a student in the Sybil B. Harrington School of Fine Arts and Humanities, I received a great education from some of the best professors in the region.

West Texas A&M University has a varied selection of degree programs administrated by academic professionals with a focus on assisting students in attaining their future career goals. The staff and professors are excellent and assist students with any needs they have. I found that the History department was especially professional, highly educated, and incredibly student focused. Dr. Clark, Dr. Brasington, and Dr. Morrow-Clark are all standouts in my mind for what amazing professional, highly educated,... Read More

I am currently enrolled in the MSFE program at West Texas A&M University and plan to graduate in 2019. Thus far, the school and program have been fantastic. They offer the program in person or it can be done completely online. Everyone who has contacted me from the school if I have questions or need guidance has been incredibly friendly and helpful.

The program is great because it is online. affordable and Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AASCB) credited. The cose is about 350 per credit and you need about 40 credits to graduate with a MBA with a concentration in Computer Information Systems. The best part; fully online program so you can work while you go back to school.

I would recommend this school to anyone who is interested in getting to know their professors and not being a number. My professors knew me by name and knew a little about my life. The counseling center is amazing for support as well. This is also reasonably priced.

West Texas A&M University is a great school to attend. They have online and on campus courses. The teachers care about you learning the material and are always available for help. The student body is great. The campus is pretty, safe, and friendly. I previously attended Texas Tech and when I transferred back to West Texas A&M, I noticed a huge difference in the amount I was able to learn because the classes are smaller. Instead of 500 students in a lecture hall, there were about 50 to 100 and you... Read More

I loved attending WT in Canyon, Texas. It is a great school located in a small, cozy town. My class sizes were not too big and the the professors will easily approachable. While there, I was able to meet many new people in my field of study. We formed study groups and it was great to receive support from other students who knew exactly what I was going through. I would recommend WT to anyone who wants a great education at a reasonable price and wonderful location. The campus itself is not too big... Read More

When researching universities for my Educational Diagnostician program, WT shined through. When looking at finances, their tuition was very competitive. As a full-time teacher, I would be able to afford my education without taking out high amounts in student loans. I was drawn to WT based on their location, kindness, and "down-to-earth" atmosphere that is located in the Texas panhandle. Every time I had a problem that needed to be resolved, their staff members were incredibly helpful and courteous... Read More
