Degree: MBA

Utah State was an amazing experience! The MBA Program is truly high quality education and the administrators really care about students. I was impressed by their willingness to work with me on my schedule, and the ability to mold the education experience into what I want to do with my future aspirations.

USU is a great school overall. As long as you're willing to put in some effort to meet people, you'll make some good friends and find social circles. My experience with the Computer Science program was rather mixed. There were some professors that really care about teaching and giving you relevant skills, but it seems like the majority are just there to get a paycheck, and they don't really care at all about what you learn from the class. I wish I had known that a CS degree is primarily theoretical.... Read More

First off, I am aware I'm a bit of an anomaly. I could not dislike USU more due to my experiences with them. I had to do a medical withdrawal in 2013, but due to a professor not submitting documentation of any class performance to the registrar, they put me on academic probation. Medical issues abated in 2019, so I met with a disciplinary board (literally 12 people) to plead why I should be able to return. After explaining it was a singular professor in the Ag department that this issue stemmed from,... Read More

Degree: Civil Engineering

Utah State has been an amazing experience for me. There are three universities in my state that provide a program for civil engineering. Upon researching the three schools, I thought that Utah State University would be the right fit for me, and I don't regret it at all. Logan is a beautiful city and Utah State provided the atmosphere that I wanted. I made some awesome friends there. The program gave me hands-on experience. Utah State engineering graduates have a great reputation for being very will... Read More

Overall I had a great experience at Utah State University. It's located in Logan, UT, which is a relatively small community in northern Utah (about 40,000 people). Despite the size, the University has quality faculty and decent student resources for the most part. In my case, I spent most of my time in the business school, which had received a significant financial donation, which definitely helped increase the academic quality. The students, professors, and overall environment were very positive... Read More

For those seeking a Climate Master's Program at Utah State University, I would highly recommend seeking out the climate-related professors in the Watershed Department at Utah State University (USU). The professors in the Climate Program at USU tend to be harder to get along with, and not as willing to see the unique perspectives of other students, especially those with special needs. However, the Watershed Department at USU, has very caring professors that want the best for their students, and was... Read More

Degree: Special Education

I graduated from USU with a dual major in Special Education Severe/Profound and Early Childhood Disabilities (Birth-5). I loved my time at USU. For the most part I felt that my professors were involved, committed, and very knowledgable in their subjects. I enjoyed going to class and learning. I felt that tuition was fairly priced. The campus is BEAUTIFUL and still my favorite place to go walk around! I only had two professors in my time at USU that I struggled to understand or get along with. My... Read More

I loved my experience at Utah State University! I met wonderful people, had opportunities to be involved in both the campus and local community, and learn in a hands on way. My professors were knowledgable and personable, they took the time to get to know me and were a great resource to me. I felt my degree adequately prepared me for my line of work, and even inspired me to pursue further education. GO AGGIES!

I feel like I received a beautifully well rounded education, especially with a humanities degree from a state school. The professors in the English Department care about your well being and success both during and after your time at school, and are highly approachable. NR Dept as well. I can't speak to other departments. Honors college was great.

I had a wonderful experience at Utah State University. I transferred there from Snow College and spent three years completing my bachelor's degree. As a transfer student I didn't experience much of their general education requirements, but I had a fantastic experience working with the history department faculty. They are a very diverse and intelligent group of scholars and I felt the majority of my teachers cared about me and my success as a student. I learned and grew immensely as a result of my... My experience with Utah State University was fantastic. I changed my major a few semesters in, and my experience with both of the advisers I had were positive ones, especially with the adviser for the Family Life Studies degree. Sarah is always willing to help and answer questions. She truly cares about the students and is always happy to help! Though I had some professors I did not particularly love, most of my professors were helpful and cared about my success as a student.

I absolutely loved Utah State University and the PR program! It was a great experience for me and I would recommend it to anyone! Great school. Good education. Beautiful area with some amazing people. Safer on and off campus than the vast majority of universities out there. Thank you Utah State for what you did for me as a student! I loved the Communicative Disorders Department. The professors were friendly, always willing to talk. Most of my professors knew me by name. The environment was open for discussion and diverse opinions. Communicative Disorders is an undergraduate degree to become a Speech-Language Pathologist, which is a Master's program. The Master's programs are extremely competitive. However, the Professors kept you focused on learning the material and preparing, rather then stressing you out with grades. They... Read More

Utah State University is a great institution. The campus and surrounding area are gorgeous and the people there are friendly. The faculty and staff truly care about the students and want them to succeed. The teaching at the University, at least in my program, was phenomenal. The teachers care about teaching, not just research. They will make any time you need to help tutor and advise you.

Degree: Social Work

Utah State University is a great school. I earned my undergraduate degree at the main campus in Logan in 2004 and now I attend their Kaysville campus so I have a lot of experience with the school. I'm grateful for their three year part-time Master of Social Work program. It allows me to complete the degree over a longer period of time, which is imperative as a full time working single mom.

I highly enjoyed my time at Utah State University. My professors were approachable and there were plenty of opportunities available to receive help if I was struggling. My program was interesting and I enjoyed the subject matter.
