Nothing beats the Trojan network. It really is astounding how powerful it is and how much it can help you. The career center could definitely be better, especially for those not targeting consulting or IB. As for the campus and LA in general. The campus is very safe, but the surrounding area can be quite sketchy, and as most grad students are commuters the LA traffic becomes a way of life.

USC Marshall School of Business has met or meets all my educational needs. As an active military member who wants to get my MBA before I retire from active service. USC Marshall's MBV executive program is a perfect for me and allows me to meet my obligation in the US Navy while attaining my Masters degree. I will recommend this program to any active military member or a veteran, without question.

The "Marshall Network" is not just a marketing ploy...alums from any USC program get very excited when they hear you went to USC. One of the qualities that attracted me to Marshall was the friendliness and helpfulness of the student body. I think it has much more of a family atmosphere than other MBA programs. The value of this program is found in the expansive alumni network that the USC family offers especially if you plan on living/working in Southern California. It has two convenient campus locations in San Diego and Los Angeles. The class format in the Executive MBA program is flexible enough to allow you to continue working full time which was very important for me. The program is excellent and I've had a lot of great opportunities networking and building a core background in business. However, after doing a semester abroad I did notice that our program had a lot more hand-holding when it comes to learning. Abroad, I was literally thrown into the material and was forced to do a lot of external research to supplement, which I believe was better for my learning.

The network is great, and I believe the connections made will prove to be really valuable life-long ones. I am learning a lot but do feel (as with every graduate program), some courses are more valuable than others.

Great program for the "Trojan Network", the area is terrible though so stay on school grounds and always be alert! Also, maybe less focus on athletics and more focus on improving educational quality! :)

Unmatched alumni network within California, especially the LA area. Great sense of community. Students in the full-time program come from a diverse array of industries, so even liberal arts majors will feel welcome. Small-ish class size means more personal attention. Like most b-schools you need to know what you want to accomplish before you start, but the Career Center staff will do their best to help you get there. Overall a great school in Southern California. Most of the students are working professionals. Lot of "family" atmosphere and fun to be had. Cons of living in LA are traffic, smog, etc - but the weather makes up for it. Overall good program. B+
