This program is excellent for students looking to go into healthcare and related fields. Good majority of the students from the program has gone on to medical or dental schools. Quite a few students also is now in healthcare-related work, whether it is non-profit, law, or business aspect of medicine. The classes could be challenging, especially if you take the clinical track, since you'll be taking first-year medical school classes with medical students. The global medicine program gives students a chance to learn more about medicine around the world. It is not only important to learn about diseases and other medically related issues within the united states but it important to branch out from that. I love medicine and learning about people from all walks of life and this program does just that.

USC is growing on me. Having conferred my undergraduate degree in the Bay Area where public transportation was readily available most of the time, moving to to LA was a rough transition. I have to commute to the HSC from UPC and there is a university bus which provides free rides to students. This is a tremendous help!
