I had high hopes for the knowledge I would gain attending the online courses for University of Phoenix. I attending classes consistently for two years, only taking a two-week break at Christmas-time, and was surprised by the difference in difficulty from my courses. Some courses, that I felt didn’t pertain to my degree, were grueling and assigned work that took more than time to complete three other classes combined. Other classes were a breeze to complete. The accessibility was severely lacking;... Read More

Associates does not appear to carry in weight in the business world. I wish I had completed the Bachelors program. As for the online teaching, I feel the learning opportunity is limited because you don’t get the personal debate aspect you would get in an in classroom setting.

I was extremely nervous about going back to college, I wasn't sure if I could handle being a student because of my silent sezuires. University of Phoenix has made being a student amazing. I get the help I need to succeed, my academic advisor is there every step of the way. Being a college student is the best decision I ever made.

The University of Phoenix is an online university that makes it easy for those who work and are juggling other life situations like parenting simultaneously, to obtain credentials. The instructors at this particular school were easy to get in contact with and the course syllabi though challenging were always clear, making the course requirements easy to complete.

With their 1 course every 5 weeks online program I am able to focus and learn more than attempting to navigate 3 or more courses at a time. I love their teaching platform and have been successful where as when attending another school I failed every course. I recommend this school to anyone considering getting their degree

As a college student pursuing my associate degree in business, I learned a lot about how businesses operate and how those ideas apply in real life. The courses helped me understand basic concepts like management, finance, and communication. Balancing classes and assignments taught me responsibility and time management. Overall, the program gave me a solid foundation and helped me feel more prepared for my next steps in education and work.

I really enjoy the online classes and the instructors make the work easy to understand. I have attended a university before and a community college, so I am familiar with going to school online. I intend to transfer my credits into a bachelors degree in psychology and use it for a business in inequality.

This university, University of Phoenix, is horrible. They do not care about their students, only the financial aid benefits they receive from the student’s enrollment. Their financial aid department is worthless, slow, and unprofessional. Do not trust this school at all. They change policies at their whim to fit what they are doing but expect you to adhere to all the rules they have set. They will give you a “projected” date but then pull your money earlier than that said projected date but have... Read More

Overall my experience with uopx has been amazing they are attentive to my needs and the professors are very involved with us students. I enjoy my classes and the interaction with my classmates is great even while doing online courses. Overall I truly would recommend uopx to most people.

Returning to school in my 50s was a big step, but enrolling at the University of Phoenix has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. The flexible online structure fits perfectly with my busy life, and the support I’ve received from advisors and instructors has been outstanding.

What stands out most is how personal this journey has been. I’ll be the first and only of my siblings to graduate from college, and that motivates me every day. The courses are practical, empowering, and aligned with my goal... Read More

I’ve learned so much about motivation, self-discipline, and communication—skills I use in real life. The University of Phoenix truly supports working adults and makes education possible and meaningful.

When I first started everything was fine but now that I have been attending I have ran into situations that are unheard of. It seem like they only care about themselves. No matter how good you do this school has taught me they will still treat you like nothing. If you have any questions you are mislead and they are currently making my progress complicated. I am currently fighting to get enrolled in my class and to get my financial aid reimbursement sent to me after completing my last class. They made... Read More

Honestly wish I could just get my money back for all the classes I've invested in already...I regret even attending. Some teachers have been great but the majority of them make mistakes and they make it your fault somehow. Also the financial aid aspect of things is frustrating. You guys all tell me different things that I owe but then I look at the financial aid section and it says i an over paying. So Im not sure if that is a scam or what.

They'll tell you you can get online whenever you feel like it to take your classes. But then the teachers will give you assignments on days they feel like and just give you a zero so you actually fail your classes. Do not go online for your our fail.

The University of Phoenix is a challenging college. They push you to do your best, and the academic counselors always check in to see if you have any questions regarding your class or your future classes. If you put your mind to it, you can do it! I should have read reviews period! The enrollment reps and instructors are great along with the online format. BUT the financial department is a joke! You get told over and over different things that aren't correct and then next thing you know your being pulled from classes because they didn't get documents that you had sent multiple times. Financial Aid, and Academic Counselors have disappointed me to the max. I am completely in awe on how negligent they are with the students once they are enrolled and receiving their check. It seems as there is a disconnect with management because the way my account was handled was frustrating. I don't trust these people at all and I am glad I am looking into transferring out.
