I graduated in 2019 with a bachelors degree in human services. Throughout my experience with UOP I can say it was great! I had knowledgeable professors who had real life experience related to the human services field. The professors I had taught us the appropriate fundamentals needed to further our competencies in the human service field. We had in person mock assessment practices, 750 hours of field experience(internship) provided, group work, individual work, and so much more. I truly feel that... Read More

University of Phoenix was an amazing experience for me. I was able to take classes online, but majority of my classes were on campus. I was a single working mother that had a busy schedule, but the UNOP instructors and schedule was very flexible for me.The instructors were understanding, compassionate, patient, knowledgeable and experienced in the field of human services. UNOP on campus was a part of helping me overcome anxiety with speaking to the public while presenting speeches in class. It was a process... Read More

Before enrolling I asked if they were accredited, their answer was yes. And yes they are, but what they fail to tell you is that some of the programs are not accredited. So, after 4 years I have a bachelor degree that is only good for starting a fire or collecting dust. No state, not even Arizona, will license me with my degree because they do not consider the program accredited. Needless to say, my dreams got squashed and don't get me started on debt. Thanks for wasting 4 years of my life and causing... Read More

I feel my degree has only helped me be buried in debt. It is estimated that I will paying my school loans for another 23 yrs and my loans will be forgiven, otherwise I would be paying it off at about 85 yrs old! I would recommend for you anyone to go to community college and complete your initial general ed. and move on to a real university to complete your degree!

What a joke! The classes are high school level, the work is b******* in groups. You get paired with complete idiots who cannot form sentences, write paragraphs, or speak without slang. Your grade depends on others intelligence. You will never get work and you will get laughed at having a degree from here. It is a joke.

I thoroughly enjoyed not only the classes during this program but the support I received during the entire process from both the teachers and the administration. At no time did I feel as though I was alone in any of my program. As a note about the team assignments, while they can be very frustrating especially when others can determine your grade, I would like to say that I learned a lot of that part of the program specifically. Learning to let things go in group projects and save face so that you... Read More

University of Phoenix is a great school for working adults. The school prepares you to go directly into the workforce. They have learning teams that teach you how to work with others on projects. The school is on the expensive side, however it is worth it. I am now getting my masters in Marriage Family Therapy from University of Phoenix.

Selecting a college can be an intimidating and sometimes daunting task. As a single mother, I wanted to ensure that I was choosing a college that not only met my needs but my son's needs as well. You see, my son needs me to be there to help him with his homework, attend practices and games, and to play an active role in his upbringing. University of Phoenix provided us with the opportunity to complete our homework side by side, attend classes from the bleachers during practices, as well as the opportunity... Read More

I believe the University of Phoenix is a great school. It offers flexible scheduling for us students that work while attending school. The interactive online classroom allows me to stay accountable to my class assignments. Team assignments allow me to learn to communicate and work with others . The program also incorporates two field experiences that will give me hands on learning opportunities to explore my field of study.

I'm an online student at UoP. I'm am nearly finished and worked hard to get to this point. Going to school online takes discipline and drive. If you succeed with online education you can succeed anywhere. My learning experience was meaningful and valuable. If I needed extra help they had the support. If you are a driven person who desires change and growth then you will succeed. However, if you lack drive and consistency, then maybe another alternative for a higher education may be necessary. My major at the University Of Phoenix was Human Services. I did not expect this school to go into complete detail about the human services field. I expected it to teach me only what the textbook had to offer. This school, in fact, went above and beyond my expectations. Not only did I learn the textbook material, as most colleges focus on, I also learned the about experiences of working in the field by multiple instructors. The instructors would always correspond our readings to their experiences.... Read More

Horrible program horrible teachers, horrible prices, horrible schools. Run fast. they will say you owe money and you will owe nothing. This college has a program that in every class you team with others so you are all sure to pass they give a grade based on the team not the person. The program sucks. all of it the teachers were a holes. Did not care.

Where do I begin, This University is affording me the ability to finish my degree while working and maintaining my family. Coming from both an campus setting and an online setting from a school that typically offers on campus the environment was new to me. I was looking for a way to finish and with so many friends saying they completed degrees here I thought why not give it a shot. I was sold on the strictly online and deadlines. University of Phoenix is a great school. I have taken a lot from this University, that I will utilize once I join the work force. UOP has helped me to achieve my education goals, and has given me the tools to be successful in this world. I never dreamed of being educated until I had a chance to sit and talk with one of UOP admission advisers. I would recommend this school to anyone.

University of Phoenix is a great program for nontraditional students. The flexibility in achieving my degree is the only reason I was able to finish. My academic advisor and financial advisor worked closely with me to insure that I finished my degree.
