University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill

I am currently enrolled in the MPA@UNC program, meaning all of my classes are online. I was skeptical of this method of instruction at first, but I have found it to be very interesting and engaging. While the asynchronous material (the videos and readings you do outside of class) appear like stereotypical online learning, the actual class time is revolutionary. We can share our computer screens and files easily. In many ways, the online platform forces more active participation than regular classes. This not only makes the classes more enjoyable, but it also gives god preparation for future careers. I am learning new technology and new ways to connect, and I get more practice in presentation skills, which are necessary for a degree in public administration!

The MPA@UNC online Master of Public Administration program is a great option for non-traditional students.
