I would be very careful in attending the UNA MBA program. I already have two degrees from UNA. In my first Master's I received a 4.0 GPA and was very successful in my program gaining acceptance to multiple honor societies. The UNA MBA program is filled with snakes. I received an Incomplete for a course since I was affected by some tornadoes that came through the area. J. I. is a horrible professor, who has no respect or concern for his students in any way. His lack of care for student progression towards success is evident when a person who cares deeply about their grades receives an F for a class they had 85of the work completed. I would do everything to stay away from this professor. Overall, UNA is a great school and highly regarded in the academic realm. I repeat, Do not take a class with J. I. unless you absolutely have to and then ask if someone else teaches the class later on. It is worth the wait for the best education. This is a class he does not actually teach. It is fully online and he has a CTA (Clinical Teaching Assistant) who actually does the grading for him. Every bit of course is pre-made through a company called Cengage Learning. Make sure to check out the other great options as UNA is still a great school, be careful who you take classes with.

During my time at the University of North Alabama, I also had involvement with other departments and I can only offer positive reviews as well. The university also offers aid in financial assistance information, career services, and disability services. All of these services offer great aid for those with interest throughout the semester. There is also a student success center that can help with tutoring, jobs, campus involvement, advisement and various other questions or concerns. While I was taking classes to accomplish the basic core classes, most of the faculty were helpful and offered any assistance if it was sought for. I took online, in-person, and hybrid classes at this university. I had a great experience with each one and I have also had great interest in the current shift and increased amount of hybrid and online classes. If you are an individual that is interested in campus life or living on campus, I have heard great reviews of that as well. There are many clubs and organizations at the university that have a heavy involvement within the community. I never lived on campus, but I did have friends that did and they had a satisfactory experience with this.

The University of North Alabama is a well-known university for producing educators. In its early years, it was known as Florence State Teachers College. That reputation has not regressed at all. The level of education at the university is comparable to any major state school. The classes are extremely educational and role plays were done in order to experience how situations could either be good or bad; there was not a class that was not enjoyed. It taught the students insight on how different people work and how important it is to build positive relationships with the people. The best part was the hands-on experience; interacting with diverse individuals and getting to do several different volunteer work was eye-opening for the plethora of possibilities and career choices that social work has to offer.
