I graduated from a Chinese course program hosted at the University a handful of years ago. The instructors were great, and the program was well-funded and supported. I learned a good deal and carry that with me even today. I can not attest to the other discplines or student life, but iowa city is a great city with much to explore and love.

I had a great experience—professors and classes were all excellent. I gained hands-on experience through various internships. I had the opportunity to work with the athletic department and several high school athletic directors throughout my time. I would recommend the program to all students.

I found the University of Iowa to be a perfect fit for my major because I was pre-PA and I needed patient care hours to apply to grad school so having the hospital on campus made getting a job very easy. However many of the science department professors and TAs are foreign and barely speak English in some cases, which makes it incrediblt difficult to learn effectively.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Iowa! There was an abundance of campus life, and I found most professors and assistants made an effort to make themselves available for office hours or help when needed. I also liked that the city and campus feel woven together yet are distinct in their own ways.

The University of Iowa is an amazing institution and I can't say enough about the entire University. First, the entire campus is beautiful and well designed. Even though it is a Big 10 school, everything is close together and walking distance. Everywhere you go is well kept and the University is always updating the campus with renovations or new buildings. The campus is really beautiful, modern, and just enjoyable to walk around and go to your classes. Additionally, the academics here are great because... Read More

The University of Iowa provided a great college experience. Their academics are strong for a BigTen school and they have some areas that may be stronger than others. The campus itself is amazing, and Iowa City is the perfect college town that you will never want to leave. The social atmosphere is great and provides so many opportunities to thrive professionally and socially.

I loved being able to continue my education online. All of my professors were great and knowledgeable. I was able to do my practicums near me, and it was very well explained on expectations. I was able to continue to work full time and do my schooling.

Best decision I made from an academic and social standpoint. The campus felt like home right off the bat and offered a security my parents and I were looking for.
Facilities and surrounding Iowa City ensured I had places to study and live my life as a student.

The University of Iowa has a wonderful reputation of being a research medical school. Wanting to go into the health field this was extremely desirable to me. However, once I Transferred to the University of Iowa from a smaller community college, I realized I needed more one on one attention that the university could not provide. Most of my instructors did not speak English as a primary language which made learning difficult materials such as chemistry statistics and biology very challenging for me.... Read More

I enjoyed my time at the University of Iowa. I wish I took advantage of more opportunities during my time there. There are plenty of ways for you to get involved on campus and make your mark. I will say unfortunately there is a lack of diversity on campus, and that can sometimes get to you, however, I believe by the time I was graduated, the school was taking more of an initiative to make the campus more inclusive. Other than that I enjoyed my time at Iowa, I took advantage of the many student organizations,... Read More

Great school. Intellectually rigorous. Above all, the students and faculty here are some of the friendliest people I have ever met. I try to make it back for alumni events every year. There is never a dull moment on this campus. I now enjoy a great job with the City of Chicago because of some of the experiences I had here.

The University of Iowa is an excellent school. I enjoyed my classes and felt that their was pl but of diversity there. The campus was located along the Iowa River and was butted up to downtown making th campus very walkable. I was assisted with applying and getting financial aid by caring and capable staff. I would recommend this university to students looking for both intellectually challenging and a beautiful campus.

I absolutely loved the University of Iowa. It was the best decision that I have ever made in my entire life. The atmosphere there was indescribable. I was a direct admit into the Tippie College of Business, which was a blessing. The amount of people that I met throughout college reshaped the person I am today. I am still in contact with many people who attended the business school, which has opened doors in my career thus far.

The music therapy program at the University of Iowa is one of the top programs in the country. The professors work you hard, but always with a caring hand. The program is kept small to ensure that you have a personal relationship with each professor and graduate student. The program works with any type of student, undergraduate, graduate, second degree, someone with children, equivalency students etc. I always felt fully supported and encourage. I always knew that the University of Iowa had an outstanding... Read More

The reason I chose the University of Iowa for my Bachelor's degree was because they were one of the top ranked schools in the nation. The reason I chose to stay there was because of the caring faculty members that continually helped me reach and surpass my goals. Everyday while I was in the program I would learn something new or put one of my new skills into practice. The instructors all helped me answer my questions in a timely manner and I was never left alone to "fend" for myself. The course content... Read More

University of Iowa has an amazing Management program. The professors are all very helpful and are happy to work with you individually. I wish there was a better program in place to help you find positions related to your major, but thats more the career services fault. The Management school itself does prepare you very well for life after college.

One of the amazing things about the program is that it is fully funded and you earn a stipend for teaching undergraduate courses. The faculty is extremely knowledgeable and they push you beyond your comfort zone in order to stretch you. While being a very accepting environment, it lacks in diversity among the student body. There is a great and unique opportunity to be involved in new works and to create your own performance opportunities.
