College is what you make it. It is an opportunity to truly expand your worldview and future if you treat it as such. It provides an opportunity not only for independence, but also for challenges. College should be a time to discover what you want to do, why and how; and one should not limit himself with certain classes or activities, but rather experience a variety of courses, subjects, clubs and organizations.

I liked it overall and thought I received a good education but did not like dealing with liberals that run many of the colleges these days.

I received a good education but unfortunately, like most colleges, it's full of liberals.

The University of Georgia is an amazing institution. I received both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from UGA. The courses are rigorous and relevant to the current job markets. I learned many content-based theories and job skills from UGA. I recommend this university to any student for undergraduate and graduate studies.

Excellent graduate school for Kinesiology. There was a large emphasis in research and great mentor-ship from the professors in the department.

The graduate program for music education helps to create a well-rounded researcher and practitioner in the world of public school teaching. There are many musical opportunities that are available to students, which is a big plus for continuing performance skills.

I wish I had done my student teaching earlier than the second to my last quarter in my undergrad program. I hated it, and realized I wanted a more one-on-one experience with students rather than the large classroom interaction. I pursued a counseling and student affairs administration masters degree, which was the perfect fit for me. I chose to take two years to complete my masters degree so that I could take advantage of all the classes and practicum experiences offered. I LOVED my masters program... Read More

The graduate program I attended in the College of Education was a cohort based program, which I loved! It was nice to get to know my co-students and future colleagues. Many of us continue to stay in contact now, even years later and though our careers have taken different turns. I do feel that the education I received in my program was challenging and highly regarded, though so often the positive qualities of the school are overlooked for the football team.
