It is a great, well-rounded school. From the liberal arts to engineering, it has something for everyone. In addition to being great academically, it has a great campus culture that encourages people to be socially aware and to be involved in your community. I've learned so much from the people I met there.

I will always value my time at Cal. Not only for the things I learned, but also for the wonderful atmosphere on campus and around the area.

I enjoyed attending University of California in the early 2000s, but I would not consider attending now. The campus and the city are entirely too simplistic in their political and world views, and they lack any real-life experience or logic.

Very happy with my experience at Berkeley. Don't love the town but love the school and people associated with it. Would recommend AS&T to other prospective UC Berkeley Graduate Students.

The program I am in is a one year Masters program. Hence, it is extremely intense and very challenging.

The IEOR graduate department is really selective : only 56 students were accepted into the program this year and we were only 3 students to do the Master program (the rest were either pHD students or 5-year program). The classes are thus voluntarily hard because geared towards very intelligent students. The expected amount of work to provide is huge but the course load isn't that intense and if you can manage your time efficiently, you can do decently well without suffering too much !
