My first problem is with my counselor. As a first time student, I wasn't sure what I wanted to study initially. When I figured it out, I contacted my counselor and asked her to change my program, and she would not change it. The reason was that she wanted me to wait a few months to decide on a degree before changing it. I can understand where she is coming from, but I am the one paying so why question it? My second problem is with my Professor. I was confused on two assignments during my course.... Read More After the second time, I contacted my professor with a professional email and asked her to include all of the tasks due for the week in the section labeled "Graded work due this week." I felt it would help everyone, and it would reduce me wasting my time looking in week seven for an assignment due in week four. My third issue is with Blackboard. I am currently in week 6 of class, and I have an assignment due on Sunday. I was supposed to receive an assignment back from my professor with her input, and I was supposed to review the professor's input and make the appropriate changes for final submission. The day I am supposed to receive this feedback I received an email instead stating that there was a problem with blackboard and I need to resubmit ASAP. So I resubmit and email the professor to let her know I took action. Two days later, I receive another email stating all my assignments from last week need to be resubmitted ASAP because they did not load properly. This time I attached my assignments to an email rather than using the blackboard. I did take the professor's advice to call and get help with this issue, but well I am not looking to throw money at the school so I will have to wait the 48 hours to get a response I'm sure. I wish the professor would have contacted me sooner because that could have helped also, but what does she care, she is receiving a paycheck. Is Brandman University to blame for all of this? No. its people, lazy people. I have combed through the five-star reviews on this site, and they are all pretty cool, also reasonably similar. Anyways, maybe I just had bad luck. My wife received her MBA through Brandman, and she did not have anything bad to say, but she also went into the school and had excellent professors.

To admit you at the school is not just art but magical, they would do anything to provide you an admission. But as soon as you got admitted then it takes 2 to 5 days just to get a response for any concern or issue. Financial services are disastrous at this school, they find a reason to charge you left and write, for application, tests, materials, registration, dropping... basically anything you do wouldn't work without money. They find a reason to threat you and send your account to collections and... Read More put hold on your account which will not allow you to register and then penalize you for late registration. Remember, do not go to this school even if you get a free scholarship or if your employer is sponsoring your education. There is no name and recognition for this school, even local employers asks you if this is an out of state school. Their statistics and English classes are not even accepted at MPC (Community College). Don't make the mistake of appealing any decision, it's literally a cartel or monopolistic system, any appeal is going to be denied no matter what. They find an excuse to send your account to collections and just prevent you from getting your transcript, graduate or even use your transcript. The advisors are kind but their hands are tied they have to play the politics of organization. The biggest mistake I ever made in my life is going to this school. But I am glad I left it before I go to deep, on second year. Do yourself a favor, get a monthly subscription at Washington Post or NY Times you will learn more but don't go to this school. If you have any option in life do not trust the sweet orientation and talks of hot girls that are just setting up the trap!

Worst school ever, no name recognition, employer oriented and job market booster! Very expensive, so many hidden costs, urge you to lend, and promise to help but they don't help. After spending over $40,000 at this school they still refereed me to collection agency for $1500. It was not even my fault, the advisor didn't do her job and I had prove. Read More you tell an employer you are graduated from Brandnman! Started all over from CC and got admitted to UC Berkeley. Now i KNOW WHAT IS SCHOOL AND HOW MUCH IT WORTHS IF TAUGHT BY RIGHT PEOPLE AND KEPT OFF FROM BUSINESS. Don't waste your time and money, go do a 6 month course and it will pay you back than a 4 years school at this organization.

If you need a degree for knowledge or to be successful in work place, do yourself a favor and get an AA from a community college instead of a BA from Brandman. The educational system and curriculum is a joke, having piles of cash and still graduating with debt is normal with this system. It sucks the juice of life out of students for it's business. The degree won't even get you a job interview, and if somehow an employer just shot an arrow in dark and consider you for interview, it will be embarrassing... Read More because this university doesn't prepare you for job market and challenges facing in firms and governmental companies. Only consider this university if you got dropped from college 3 times, you are not a learner or you don't really care because you inherit a million dollar business from you ancestors and you just need a name on your FB profile. Again, I can't stress enough on the money part of this university, they will charge you for every single thing and show you heaven while there's no value to its degree in real world. They will give you an estimate of $65000, but you will graduate and don't even know that you spent over $80000. If you drop a class, withdraw, fail, repeat no matter what you do they will find a way to charge you for it over and if you talk logic they will threat you on sending your file to collection agency and seas your transcript and diploma. You are a total slave in their system unless you put a bunch of cash. The professors are not even decent in this organization, the classroom is set in odd numbers, online classes are a joke. I took statistics and finished it with a grade of B. I went to community college and wanted to finish it with an A and replace the grade. I end up getting a C after putting even more work than what I did initially. I was a complete illiterate compare to the people who went up in the chain of community college. This is really funny, there calculus and statistics classes are not even accepted in community college. I wanted to retake statistics and I had to take the assessment test to place in that class. I looked for jobs for over two years and couldn't even get an enter level job. I return back to University of California Berkeley and majoring in Economics. This is my second year and I already got a part time job and an internship this summer. I now know the value of education and it costs about a quarter of what I spent in Brandman. If you need a degree to get a job reconsider your choice!

I have had nothing but a great experiences with Brandman. Sometimes it feels like there is a lot of work to do, but this is college. You do have to earn a degree. I work more then full-time and have a family to take care of and I manage to get all A&B's.

Everything seems pretty streamlined as far as financial aid goes. I use the GI Bill and I have never had to do anything for my tuition. Brandman just took care of everything. I have only had one bad instructor, he was new and he was let go after... Read More our class. I have nothing but good things to say about Brandman up here in Washington. They bend over backwards to help you get through your courses and they understand you have a busy life.

I have met many great people in the program and I believe everyone has the same opinion as I do. I have not had any problems with Blackboard through Brandman. Everything online is relatively simple after the first week of classes. I would recommend Brandman.
