Tulane University

I love Tulane University in every way! My school has plenty to offer, challenging coursework, diverse environment and ample opportunity for academic career growth. Although, Tulane University is a great program, New Orleans has a high crime rate. However, the community has continual efforts to make students, community members and visitors to feel safe. New Orleans in general is a work in progress and I love being a part of it.

Great advisors and professors, but expensive without financial aid to international students.

Tulane provides an excellent medical education and is in an amazing location near the French Quarter. The only downside is the high cost!

You work hard but are generally rewarded, the advisers you are assigned are usually genuinely interested in your success, and the network of Tulane graduates is welcoming, willing to listen and interested. The city is a heavy drinking social situation, which is unfortunate; it is a bit difficult to become involved in a social activity without some form of alcohol being involved.

Tulane University is a great school, however, financial aid is a serious problem. The school lacks communication between the departments which makes something as basic as scheduling to be a problem.
