I had a really informative time at Kingsville. They had great facilities and staff that knew how to help the students. My classmates were truly there to help each other and we made the best of it all the homework and tests. There wasn't much there for activities, it was a really small town, but we all made the best of it.

The communication sciences and disorders undergraduate program at Texas A&M University-Kingsville is one of the top programs on our campus. We have a full functioning speech pathology clinic that students are able to do observations in and learn tremendous amounts from. All of the professors are educated and friendly. They truly try to learn who you are as a student on a one-on-one basis and give you as much help as they possibly can. I could never imagine completing my undergraduate degree anywhere... Read More

It has a good engineering program. It was a good college experience. However, the school doesn't really provide a good career service when I was there. It was difficult getting an internship job unless you already know someone. Overall I will recommend the school especially for anyone that plans to stay close to home.

I would highly recommend this University for anyone who wants a small town homey feel. The exercise science program is one of the best, filled with great professors who are always willing to help! The student to teacher ratio is small as well so the teacher gets to learn everyone's names and makes learning easier.

Texas A&M University-Kingsville is a great place to attend school if you need a more personal approach to learning. The classes are small, the professors know you by name and the university enrollment is less than 10,000 students. It is a charming campus that is not too big, nor too small. The professional demeanor of university staff, whether it be in the financial aid office or the janitorial staff, are friendly and willing to help out in any way. I love this school!!

During my master's degree program, I received great instruction from professors who seemed to not only care about my academic success but also my personal growth. Currently, I am working on a PhD in Biology at a different university, but, without the guidance I received at Texas A&M University-Kingsville, I would not have had such opportunities as I do today. Although the campus and town are small, the university really tries to make students experiences enjoyable with a great deal of campus activities.... Read More

Texas A&M University-Kingsville was a home away from home. The education provided there has really helped me in my current career. My professors knew what they were talking about and most definitely prepared me for the real world. I look back and I am proud to have gone to TAMUK because of them I was not thrown into the real world without knowing what to expect. I recommend Texas A&M University-Kingsville if you're a small town feel type of person, they really make you feel at home. Go Hogs!

I attended 2 other Universities before transferring to TAMUK and the faculty and staff at this University are one of a kind. Its rare to find professors who truly want you to succeed and will assist you in accomplishing success. I will be starting my Graduate studies at a different campus this Spring and I really hope the professors are as caring as the professors at TAMUK. I recommend anybody who is interested in helping people for a career to enroll in the Communication Sciences and Disorders program... Read More

I feel that the professors are top notch. They have real world counseling experience and I have learned so much from them. The cons would be that tuition is expensive and being a grad student, I am not eligible for any federal grants.

My graduate program was fairly easy to get admitted into; however, I do not feel there are enough resources such as grants and scholarships. I feel there should be more financial support, especially for Hispanic students in higher education.
