Degree: Counseling

The program is very competitive to be accepted to , for they only take approximately twenty students per yer. This ensures the pool not to be saturated and small class sizes. The classes have great diversity of learning environments and situations. The only frustration I have encountered is for Practicum placement. Support for students for find placements is lacking and could be more involved.

Degree: Counseling

I am currently attending SUNY Oswego and going for a Masters in Mental Health Counseling. My dream is to one day work for the U.S Air Force as a Clinical Psychologist. This program will set me on the right track to achieving this goal, therefore I see no cons, but only pros.

Degree: Counseling

Unfortunately there isn't much opportunity for financial aid for graduate students, and there are limited graduate assistantships available for students pursuing counseling at the Metro Center campus. Otherwise, I am thoroughly enjoying my studies at this school!

Degree: Counseling

The professors are kind, intellectual, and very caring for the students in the program. They make the students feel extremely comfortable with going to them for academic, professional and personal guidance. The amount of opportunities within this program is truly remarkable as well.
