Common sense

At a graduate level, the classes seemed to be more at the undergraduate level and at times at the associate degree level. The classes were too repetitive and the required reading material was useless as if you have common sense, you can do the discussions in minutes. Papers were boring to write, no challenge to any course work. Perfect grades in five classes and I am transferring to another university with higher ratings.

It was important that I attend an on-line school for my Masters Degree due to my work schedule, but I was both skeptical of the quality of an on-line education and a bit deterred as I graduated with my BA several decades ago, and I'm not particularly computer literate. I did have some adjustment issues with the on-line format, but I found many resources were available to assist me. My first teacher was amazing, very accessible, eager to help and supportive. He also was understanding when life issues... Read More

I had an issue with an Instructor and she emailed the Dean like she was concerned. The Dean sent me an email addressing an issue I never knew we had without even addressing me. Looking for another school.... Read More

Wasn't Really impressed with the school. They told me that the program was legal studies. It started turning out to be police work taught by former police officers. My advisor was never there for me. I called to keep him or her informed. I did not like how they treated me.

First and foremost, my professors at SNHU were awesome and obviously very committed to their employment as adjunct online MS professors I was also initially impressed with my (chosen for me) online MS student adviser, Leah Blumenthal. Leah, communicated with me regularly and continuously. I find it difficult to believe that she had not a nary of my surprising and sudden "possible warning of academic dismissal" due to my academic withdraw to care for my dying mother during her last weeks. Apparently,... Read More
