As a career military member, obtaining a degree has primarily been just to check a box. Given that purpose, I consider SNHU to be a great choice, as it's significantly more respectable than other for-profit schools that military personnel frequently attend. While I would only describe a few of the courses I took as particularly challenging, I do feel like the education I received was valuable and pursuing a General Studies degree allowed me the flexibility to choose the classes and subjects that... This is the best online school out there! I absolutely loved my experience at SNHU! From my amazing advisor (Kathy R.) to the instructors, to the Financial Aid office. They are helpful, knowledgeably and caring. I received a great education, with challenging module assignments, classmates that helped me learn and instructors that were ALWAYS available. If I had a question, the instructors would be available through email, text and/or a phone call. They were willing to help me understand the material,... Read More

I am busy. I have a family and a successful career already. I have been able to advance through experience in the military and a lot of hard work even without a degree but that can only last so long. I have been to traditional colleges both private and state but never crossed the finish line. Fast -forward 10 years and I am regretting that I never completed my degree. I am been so thankful that SNHU has held my hand through the whole process. Most of my credits transferred in and my advisor, and... Read More

If you're thinking about going here, DO NOT DO IT. I'm in my last two classes to complete my Bachelor's degree. This school is a complete joke. I don't even know where to begin. I wish that someone had told me this before I decided to complete me degree here. The only reason I'm finishing is because I'm not about to have a huge student loan and just quit before finishing. Not only is this school a joke to any employer after seeing it on your resume, but I have literally not learned one thing. I have... Read More

This is an excellent school!!! They welcome all and they understand that there are people who may not have had the opportunity to pursue a degree due to various different reasons. I was disappointed to read from a prior review that this school admit "bad students whose education level may not be up to that person's personal standards", talk about that student being judgmental and elitist. My own personal experience is wonderful!!!, My advisor and my professors are very concerned about my well being... Read More

Good school. I did B.A general studies IT. If you put in the effort you will get a degree. You have to be self motivated. Overall I have grown personally. I am happy I could complete and achieve a goal at SNHU online. I am considering a Masters program with SNHU.

SNHU was great for my undergrad degree. The courses are extremely easy. I'm not sure how the quality is in comparison to other universities. I did attend Oregon State for a while and found SNHU to be worlds easier which makes me feel uneasy about the quality of SNHU. Also, none of the tests are proctored. I did get a great job after graduation within my own company. It was more luck than education, though. I'm having a hard time finding a job with a new company outside my organization. SNHU is not... The college was fine. I really dislike school but education is extremely important. If I had to do it all over again I would go to Southern New Hampshire university again.
