I will make this short and sweet. SNHU is a great school, with a great system if you apply yourself. It's just like any other institution of higher learning; you will be successful if you put in the effort. The students who complain, were never scholars anyway, and make excuses and try to blame SNHU for their lack of knowledge and perseverance. Online courses are harder, because you don't have anyone there to hold your hand and guide you along the way. If you need this, you need to attend your classes... Read More

I did my research on schools before deciding on SNHU. All of my credits transferred from UOP so that was amazing. I have 6 months left and I will be graduating. My advisor is amazing and always checks in with me. Even when I had to take time off for having a baby he still checked in. Financial Aid is also great and I have had no issues at all. I believe this is a great school and is definitely worth it.

I am honestly surprised by some of the negative reviews I've read here. This is my 3rd year attending online classes at SNHU and my experiences have all been positive. I must say that I what I read in another review regarding an individual's motivation to write a review being in direct connection with their level of anger/agitation seems accurate. Additionally, some reviews mentioned having to be tech savvy or not being able to follow the course instructions. I am 47 years old and I have not had... Read More

PLEASE FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE. Find a school that genuinely cares for their students and teachers. They will let you start school WITHOUT your funds being in place and will charge you out of pocket no matter how much you try to dispute it on their end. So not only are you out of a degree and going back to school, but if you have families and children they do not care if your children go without eating or a roof over their head as long as they get their money. I have gone to college before locally and... Read More

Everyone has their own experience with this school and It's good to read the good and the bad and then decided. There are bad reviews but don't let that deter you from doing your research on the school, like I said everyone has their own experience. I graduate with by bachelor's in human services in may and start my masters soon after. I transferred two years ago from my community college to snhu and began classes. The community college I went to wasn't the best so i had almost given up on school... Read More

My first two years of college were done at a traditional brick and mortar school back in the mid-90's. Life had a way of stepping in and I was unable to finish my degree. I decided to go back in early 2017 to finally finish my Bachelor's degree in Human Services. SNHU has been aswesome from the getgo! They transferred ALL of my credits and made the transition incredibly easy. My advisors have been amazing, finanical aid has always been helpful and right on piont, and for the most part, I've been... Read More

This review is for SNHU online degree. Expect to put in 35 hours per week minimum for each class. The only issue I have is the insane amount of writing- one paparr will span 7-8 weeks with only a portion due each week- resources, citations, & so many edits. I am highly annoyed by the many tiny steps that tie up my schedule- very hard to focus so much time even not working! The teachers are nice- the assignments nerve racking and tedious!

One of the best college's I've ever attended. Very helpful staff, great teachers, and an overall fabulous experience. I am currently a junior and will be graduating next year and I am so happy that I decided to attend SNHU. I was able to transfer more credits than I even thought from other schools which gave me a great advantage. I'm sure that for profit schools wouldn't have let me do the same because they would have wanted me to spend more money that I didn't need to. I would recommend this college... Read More

I've been attending SNHU online for over a year now and I love it. I am learning a lot and the courses are very good quality. I recommended SNHU online to my daughter and she is now attending as well to complete a Bachelor of Science degree. Most adults today have to work and SNHU online is a great option to finish your education. The school is also very affordable. I would highly recommend SNHU.

I really love this school. I believe it has bad reviews because people expect too much. But, we have to remember its college AND some degrees are online. It is NOT high school. You have to work hard. Online classes are designed for YOU to do all the work and the professors to answer your questions. It is NOT like a course where the professor will hold your hand through every single assignment.

I am currently a senior in the Human Services program with SNHU Online. There are good and bad things about this school, but that's any school you go to honestly. Good: The professors I have had have ALWAYS responded to e-mails in a timely manner, and they answer any questions I have. The advisors are amazing. My advisor answers me right away, and she is my biggest supporter! I love the set-up of the classes. You have what they call milestones, which are typically 3-4 page papers on a topic. You... I have only attended SNHU Online for 4 terms. Some of the advisors are difficult to get in contact with when you need something but they will call constantly if they need to get in contact with you. Second, when it comes to One Stop, FORGET getting any REAL answers. Save your money and go to an instate college that offers online degrees. The curriculum is just like at a brick and mortar, but again when it comes the financial side, you will get the run a round.

The online students are a number to them. They treated me as though they had a dollar amount they needed to reach. I had to stay on them about bringing in credits for classes I'd taken at Cal State University as they were attempting to hide those classes in an attempt to make me take them with them. They delayed informing me of information about things such as Credit for Prior Learning options until it was too late. My advice would be NOT to attend; If you need a challenge, PLEASE keep ALL emails... Read More
