There have been repeated errors in student accounts, including my own, and I am aware of numerous peers who have experienced similar issues. These mistakes create unnecessary confusion and anxiety, especially when students are trying to focus on their education.
Additionally, tuition increases occur each year, often without clear communication or justification. For many students, the initial cost appears manageable, but the rising expenses over time can feel misleading and burdensome.
Southeastern University is a wonderful institution with outstanding professors, rigorous programs, and a vibrant community. To fully honor the excellence of its academic departments, it is essential that the university addresses the ongoing problems within Financial Services and improves the accuracy, transparency, and reliability of its financial processes.

SEU has been amazing from day 1! Advisors and Professors are always available, they touch base consistently, send encouraging emails periodically, answer questions timely and always willing to go above and beyond to help their students do their best! There was only one professor out of the 16 that Ive had so far who was difficult in his grading scale but all other professors were fair, honest, gave great feedback, and worked with you if you were dealing with urgent family matters. SEU has changed a lot since I graduated. However, I have fond memories of most of the professors and the positive impact that they had on my life. A select group of educators instilled in my life integrity and challenged my perceptions of the world which prepared me both professionally and personally. As for the student body, the school prides itself on its Christian heritage however at times the students were a little too zealous and judgmental, and the piety within the school was a bit distracting.... Southeastern University has been an excellent option for me as a busy mom of two school age boys. I have found the academics to be excellent, and I will be well prepared to enter the field if special education when I graduate in December, 2017. The professors have been very accessible, and the online delivery format is one of the most flexible you will find.
