Degree: Business Administration

San Diego State University is a great college to attend with focus on business. I graduated from the Fowler College of Business, and it is considered one of the highlights of the college. Great sense of atmosphere and helpful professors, Fowler College of Business is an overall great program to be part of. I would say the main challenge for those who are local would be the commute. Sometimes the commute is great such as those who attend night classes, but the commute is an issue when going in the... Read More

Well I really enjoyed my time at SDSU however some professors weren't so easy to get along with. I was always a hardworking student but this one professor Mae it seem like I wasnt worth anything. I had to keep proving myself to her and I know wI was doing well but she just gave me a hard time. Only downfall is that it is a very liberal school.

SDSU was a great experience for me when I transferred over from community college. Originally, I attended a UC but decided to do community instead. One thing I really like about SDSU was that the upper division classes can be smaller. This means that you can easily communicate with your professor. While attending UC, the classes tend to be huge and we were usually taught by the TAs, which can be a mixed bag and reaching the professor can be difficult as well. Parts of me feel like the SDSU professors... Read More

I attended SDSU from out of state. You couldn't beat the location of SDSU, located in the sunny San Diego. Friends here are lots of fun. You can easily find fun things to do on the weekend. Professors are hit or miss, some of then are very caring and talented, some are not so much. Classes relied so much on reading textbooks and are tested on those textbooks instead of what being taught in classes. I stayed on campus and that was a good experience. A lot of food options and free gym is a huge bonus.... Read More

San Diego State University was an amazing place to get my Bachelor's Degree. I was a commuter student, as were many of the students. As a result, I felt that I belonged as many people were only there during the day. I received a degree that perfectly matched the career that I was preparing to enter.

San Diego State University has an excellent Business Administration program. Prior to attending, I had heard that it was quite demanding, and my experience confirmed it to be true. This was especially the case with having an Accounting emphasis on my degree. However, I mean that in a positive light. Overcoming the challenges of the program allowed me to grow both as a person and a professional, and kickstarted the career I have today. I am proud to have graduated with a Business Administration degree... Read More

I did not have a great experience with the school. From the start, the classes in the area of focus I was interested in were not available, although they were featured in the course catalogue. This info was presented to me when enrolling so it felt like false advertisement after I found out they were not available. The classes outside of my major were pedantic and felt like a waste of time. When we switched to online learning due to COVID, I was able to get the same information I would during lectures... SDSU is a beautiful campus with enjoyable professors. The school provides a variety of options to take courses. There are many options of places to study and utilize school resources. The school also has a great library with many options to find a quiet space to fill in between the time of classes. Walking through campus is an enjoyable experience.

It was only a few years ago, but I look back fondly at my time at SDSU. They have a beautiful campus; it's very clean, pleasing architecture, a good amount of greenery. Most of the teachers I experienced were passionate about teaching us and wanted us to succeed.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at SDSU! The campus, the student body, the faculty all helped to shape who I am today and the successes that I have had as a teacher! I am very grateful for having had the opportunity to learn and grow at San Diego State University and fully support any of my current high school students in applying and attending SDSU.

Good teachers for the business school, I felt like I learned a lot and I built connections that I carry now into my career. The social scene is good and I really like the college sports environment as well. I got a job right after graduation, so my degree was the worth it.

I attended San Diego State University Aztec from 2005 to 2008 as a transfer student. I studied Kinesiology with emphasis in Fitness Nutrition and Health. San Diego State was an amazing school and I met many people and formed meaningful friendships. I made a habit of meeting with my professors one on one to get to know each other, especially in huge classes of 100 or more. I always sat in the front row and stood out to where the professors knew me by my first name. You can get caught up in the glamour... Read More

My four years at San Diego State were some of the best years of my life. To start, the campus and the weather there are both beautiful! The campus is only a short drive away from the beach, so when I wasn't busy with school work I was hanging out in the sand or surfing. I learned so much during my studies to earn my BS in Kinesiology. My anatomy and physiology teachers were incredibly bright and engaging; I still think back to some of their lectures while studying in my graduate program because they... Read More

I enjoyed attending San Diego State University although I attended quite some time ago. When I attended all classes were taken on campus but being on campus was better for me because I was a bit shy when I first went to college. San Diego State at the time was a very large campus so I would recommend that you try to connect with a smaller group to get better connected with the university at large. I pledged a sorority which also helped me get connected. It's not the end result but the process. SDSU... Read More

Leadership program and only two professors thus exhibit leadership qualities. Pedagogical content knowledge as well as content knowledge was not to par with a doctorate program. Hired inexperienced profs and it shows in their teaching. One part time professor was excellent and one full- time professor was excellent. Other than that - the program was a waste of time and money. Can get the same experience with a cheaper program and more online.
