I have been attending this university since 2004. I would NOT recommend this school to anyone. The online courses are simply the 16 week campus courses crammed into 8 weeks online work.
For the past year, since they did away with their university alliance contract, there have been no lectures in any of the 6 courses I've completed during that time. It's simply a read an enormous amount of text in the books, and take the test kind of coursework. For the bad quality, they even raised their tuition.... Read More
The accounting is so bad I have had to prove twice that I didn't owe them money that they claimed I did. Stay far away from Saint Leo College of Online Learning. You'll be glad you did.

The classes themselves were ok for the most part. What I had a problem with was bisk education. They would not complete my enrollment, then enroll me in a class anyways so I was constantly behind on the coursework. They also seemed to want to change books every term so u were almost forced to buy new books and couldn't sell your old ones to someone else.
For the learning tools we had the online lectures, textbooks, and in most classes study guides along with links to various websites that would improve... Read More

My online experience was WONDERFUL !!!!!!! I took a couple of education classes, the required "Catholic Tradition" and even a math class !!! I could work at my own pace (I usually was a week ahead - that gave me some extra time in case I ran into a snag...). I thoroughly enjoyed interacting with students from all over the world.
Because of St. Leo's affiliation with the military, many of the online students were in Virginia and some were even overseas. How exciting and how interesting their perspectives... Read More
The only complaint I ever had was the interaction with the professor. They were not accessible except through email and they often did not respond within what I would say is a reasonable amount of time (like 2 days.....) Many times it would be 4 or 5 days before a question was answered - sometimes it meant that an assignment was late because you had a question about the assignment !!!
Overall, it was a great experience - the flexibility of online classes are so important when I was trying to juggle caring for an aging mother, a part time job and other classes on campus.

I have been working and taking online courses in business management at Saint Leo University. Now in my third semester and until now the journey has been real smooth. I have had no bad experience yet with this university. The course work is surely not one of the easiest. Been really tough managing between work and college. But the effort is worth it.
The professors are real friendly and supportive. Of course there are a few odd ones like everywhere, a little problem dealing with representatives during... Read More
The best part is I'm learning a lot, that too at my own free time. It surely has induced a lot of discipline in me. With the amount I'm learning here, I'm definitely on the right track.

I really liked St. Leo, I felt it was really on top of the latest technology for online education. I had good experiences with the professors. However, when I took a job that didn't have a very good ed benefit package...I get 1500/year...I found it to be too expensive. I couldn't possibly take a student loan for the amount St. Leo would have cost me. So I was forced to select an alternative. But my reason were strictly financial. I still recommend St. Leo to others.

Enrollment is hassle free. All the work can be completed from home on your computer and more importantly, on your scheduled. They offered state-of-the-art study materials utilizing video, CD-ROM, audio and textbook formats. My experience was extremely positive and my education is top notch. I now have the confidence and the education to work in one of Atlanta's largest law firms.
