This program is best suited for people who have at least 5+ years work experience and are looking for a career change or leg up. A lot of the classes require independent work and study, but that works out perfectly if you have a hectic schedule. Aspen was the perfect university for me - someone who worked full time, with a young one (1-3 years old), and who required the flexibility in both scheduling as well as payment options. My faculty mentor, Dr. Pearce, was AMAZINGLY supportive and one of the reasons why I’ve enjoyed my time at Aspen university so much. Completed my Bachelor of Science in Nursing online through Aspen University. Tuition was affordable and could be done in installments. I also got a discount from work. Classes were 8 weeks long with manageable workload and good instructors. Each class was unique and contributed to my learning as a nurse. I thought this would take long, but it ended up being faster than I thought. My academic advisors were very helpful and answered all my questions.

I loved ASU, easy to navigate. Taught me relevant information about my career field, while giving opposing opinions. There was a lot of resources and support for me as an online student, and as a veteran. When I reached out for assistance I got it. It's an okay university that has someone reasonable tuition compared to other universities but the it lacks the connections that bigger universities have. It didn't feel like there were many job seeking help for online students but overall the online curriculum was fine.

I absolutely loved attending CSU. It gave me a great balance between work/life balance. They give you deadlines and you aren't penalized for doing assignments ahead of time. You have a flexible schedule. They have an amazing support system in place as well. I thoroughly enjoyed the Writing and Math Centers. They answered any questions I had, they also gave examples and made sure I understand the assignment.

I love my school; everything is very clear from the get go for many people unless you are in a highly specialized field like Law. The admissions process was quick and easy to understand, I was able to work one on one with my advisor who explained everything to me for how things work at the doctoral level. I liked the class environment that I took online with University of Phoenix. They were very helpful with any questions I had about assignments they had given us to do. As well as giving us enough time to work on each assignment before turning it in. Being able to work in my own time and still be able to reach out with any questions I had, was very helpful to me getting through some of the classes I took.

I graduated from Regent University in 2024 with a BA in English and a concentration in Biblical Studies. Regent has a fantastic English program. The professors were knowledgeable and the English literature studies were vast and informative. When it came to choosing courses, there was a wide range to choose from not only for English Lit but for many subjects especially biblical studies. I did my degree completely online while working and it was an overall wonderful experience.

American Public University System was a great school and to get to attend online made it that much better. Purdue University Global is an all online school. The classes are very thorough, and the schedule is very convenient for people working full time. Most classes have a lecture once a week and many are later in the day or the evening, so you can easily work your schedule around that. I was working overtime while taking courses, and still managed to get everything done that I need to, while learning a great deal.

I had a great experience at Capella. The advisors were very kind and helpful. The teachers were also all very kind and helpful. I really liked the fact that they had both guide path and flex path programs depending on what you needed or are looking for. I preferred the flex path program and it worked out really well for me to finish my MS degree.

Capella was convenient with online courses. It was also less expensive than other schools. I ran into a few technical issues with assignments, but was able to fix them with help from the IT department. Bellevue offered me the opportunity to get an advanced degree with an online-only program that allowed me to still work a demanding, full-time job. Despite being an online-only program, I felt like it was a strong education, and I still had good, consistent access to all of my professors. The University of Cumberland is excellent. Perfect programs for working professionals. Great professors! A lot of independent studies are required, but all professors are great to help! The graduate office and other supporting staff are helpful. Enjoyed the course with all professors.

Southern New Hampshire University provides a great academic program that fits within a work to life balance. All of my classes have been asynchronous, making it easy to schedule coursework in between my working hours. Additionally, the course material is excellent in providing the fundamentals in the field and where/how it applies to the real world. I saw many similarities between the course content and on-the-job experience when pursuing careers relevant towards my major.

I did my bachelor's degree and two masters degrees at SNHU online and found most of my professors to be very professional and helpful. I loved the more laid back atmosphere of being able to complete my degrees online. The school had a pretty easy to understand platform for doing the schoolwork and professors were generally available to me if I had questions. The one time I had an issue with a teacher, my advisor was very helpful and everything got resolved.

I was enrolled in the online Master of Arts in Teaching program and loved the experience at UWA. I liked the small class size, for it was easy to communicate with with peers and faculty. All course faculty had doctorate degrees. My courses were challenging, and faculty were engaged in the course. The University of West Alabama is a good school. It is well established in Livingston, AL. I chose the master's program of continuing education in counseling Psychology. This was not a good program for me. I did not get the internship I needed to move forward. I did not have wanted I needed to become a license counselor. I would recommend this school but not the program. This school is mostly focused on certifying school personnel.

Thomas Edison is very proficient in online studies. Some students are even in the military while they are students. Thomas Edison is also more flexible regarding testing out of a subject, submitting a portfolio, and accepting previous coursework taken more than 5 years ago. It is a great class structure, and the staff and advisors are very hands on and helpful. I appreciate the trial period they offer, where you get to begin a class and start out for a few weeks and can cancel if you are not enjoying your time overall. DeVry worked for me very well, it allowed me to work and take classes with an understanding staff that would want to communicate with me. I never felt like I was forced to pick school or work and it allowed me to actually get my degree without needing to go far into debt. The classes were easy and informative, with final projects that needed a lot of focus and work to earn your grade.

Overall, I would recommend SLU. I have graduated with my AA in Criminal Justice & my BS in Health Care Administration. Overall, my professors have been understanding and accommodating with the different life events that occurred during my duration of coursework. I really like how the coursework is posted in advance so that you can plan ahead and that instructors do not grade too harshly (although some do). I liked how there weren't any proctored exams either!
