I did not have many issues with Purdue Global until it came to my last round of clinical rotations. I had submitted my preceptor and site back in august and all of a sudden in april the site stated the i was not allowed to do clinicals in washington state, which I had been doing and my clinical advisor had not mentioned this being an issue. Long story short, there was a lot of false promises made by the associate dean of the school of nursing to me and it ended up leading to me having to find another... Read More

Great for anyone who likes to do online and work at the save time. You find your own preceptors, but i belive that is becoming more of the norm. Once I located a preceptor it was smooth sailing on the end of Purdue University Global. The only think that I would add would be a review course the entire length of the program. I would pay extra for that. I am planning to continue my education and get a doctorate with the program.

I am beyond satisfied with my education through Purdue University Global. The instructors were amazing and were instrumental in building me up in becoming an acute care nurse practitioner. From the initial moment I contacted the school up to walking the stage has been a wonderful experience.

Very good program which will work with your work/life schedule. Requirements and assignments are consistent throughout the program and their online spaces are user friendly. Staff are very accommodating and the financial aid process went smoothly. Online programs can be highly dependent on the individual's effort but this program provides a well structured environment.

I have enjoyed my time at Purdue University Global, the online education I thought was going to be difficult after 10 years since last attendance. I have been pleasantly surprised that they helped me every step of the way, encouraged me, and helped me succeed. I am appreciative of those that took time to explain to me what I didn't understand, even multiple times. I have nothing but wonderful praises for the school I attended. Thank you to all the teachers, faculty, and staff for making this an obtainable... Read More

I would not recommend this program to anyone looking to get their master's purely because the trouble the clinical component has caused me. I was informed, prior to enrolling, that I would have help with my clinical placement. My boyfriend and I moved from PA to VA during my time in classes, and I had no connections to nurse educators in the VA area that were willing to precept me. For months, I emailed my clinical advisor for assistance, and she always sent the same useless suggestions that I had... Read More

I had an overall positive experience with this university. While the initial admission process was difficult at times, it got a lot easier once I started my first course. I appreciate the financial assistance I received while I was in the Army. I was glad that I was able to take a term off in case if I needed to for work related events. I was also glad to see how active the instructors are with their students, answering questions. Overall, I had a positive experience with this university, and I look... Read More

Purdue University Global should not be allowed to offer masters in nursing programs as they provide zero assistance to students when trying to obtain hours for practicums whether your focus is NP, educator, or leadership. Their clinical placement managers lie to you about when they have contacted places and then place the blame on you for them not completing what they are supposed to be doing.

Purdue University Global is one of the best schools, which I have attended for my studies. Most of the instructors were very helpful and very knowledgeable. I will definitely recommend Purdue to my other friends. Academic counselors were also very helpful. Overall I had a great help from all the instructors in completing my course very successfully.

Overall, I had a wonderful experience with Purdue Global. I will be graduating soon with my Masters of Science in Nursing with my FNP on June 29th, 2021. My instructors cared about the class and wanted to see them pass. My program was designed for nurses to work and to go to school. They often extended deadlines for us to complete because of the pandemic and work schedules. They worked with us and helped us all complete our degree. Very satisfied with Purdue Global. I would recommend to anyone.

I received my BSN from Purdue University Global and am now a handful of weeks from graduating with my Masters in Nursing Education. Purdue and the professors have been outstanding and have been a huge support system. Best school ever!! I completed my BSN in 10 months and when I graduate with my MSN I will have done it in 1 year. The excel track program allowed me to work at my own pace and that pace was quick, as I found out I was pregnant with my 4th child and was able to finish my degree before... Read More

I am hoping this review will help someone decide to go to a different school. I had a 4.0 after my undergraduate degree in nursing. I do not have issues with attending school, or achieving goals. I am only writing that because when I read reviews before I started this program, and I thought I can make it work at any school. It can't be that bad. This platform will be convenient for my life schedule, so I went anyway. This school has ridiculous policies and no forgiveness for life events. DO NOT ATTEND... Read More

Hi everyone, I wish I could have had some real information about Purdue Global (PG) before I enrolled. I hope many of you see this and consider it before you enroll. It is not all negative, by the way. First, they promise you everything before you enroll but don't deliver. That is not particularlly surprising though. Second, there is a ton of writing. And then more writing on top of that. So, if you hate writing then this program may be a problem for you. Third, the professors seem to have a strong... Read More

This school is a sham. I was a student at Kaplan and even though there were many promises made to help me be successful, there was never people to call and help me out. Thanks to this school, I owe thousands upon thousands of dollars for student loans. I was in my last classes and this school did not let me complete my degree. I would actually run from this school if you really want to know the truth.

Purdue University Global was previously Kaplan University. My experience was much more positive prior to the transition. My Kaplan professors were of an entirely different caliber in comparison to my Purdue professors. The last two terms of my degree were disorganized, chaotic, and in the hands of individuals who lacked insight, the ability to provide any type of valuable constructive feedback, and unable to complete a directive without grammatical and spelling errors. It was a very unprofessional... Read More

If you are an RN pursuing your MSN, I would NOT recommend this program. It is not adult learner friendly. The format of discussion is pointless, unless you want to hone your ability to be pretentious and b******* about why you feel someones theory on a theory is helpful, or not. The seminars are a horrible waste of time. Trying to hear the professor over her children and pets in the background, or long moments of silence when folks are typing..."are you still there?", or no sound at all. This program... Read More
