The Oregon State University learning experience was not perfect, since I feel there was slightly too much emphasis put on online classes, but it is indeed well worth attending. Most of the professors are very well-trained, very experienced, and most of all, very knowledgeable. Classes are well laid-out, well-described, and relevant to whatever major is picked. OSU is a great school with a beautiful campus and great community amongst students. I felt the professors were always willing to help and taught the classes in an interesting manner. There are a lot of resources on campus especially if you are in a science or engineering based major. The admissions department here is one of the worst Ive ever seen. Absolutely no contact from them at all. They dont care about you as a student here at all. While working through admissions, I was never called, emailed or sent any mail about the process or how things were coming along. Why would you ever spend that much money at at school that couldnt care less about you...?

Oregon State University is a great school for those students interested in the science or engineering fields. Although the curriculum is extremely rigorous, you are challenged on a daily basis to put in your best effort. Prepares you for your career!

The low level classes are ok, it's probably better to go to a community college for them. I was extremely impressed with the upper division classes. For the vast majority of them, the teachers were competent, caring, and willing to help. I'd go again.
