Degree: Physical Therapy

I think anyone who is interested in pursuing physical therapy should take a long look at Old Dominion University. The full time faculty and adjunct faculty are amazing and truly experts in all of their respective fields. They prepare you extremely well for entrance into the workforce following graduation and licensure. The physical therapy program is accredited and has a 99%-100% licensure pass rate which puts them in the top tier of all physical therapy programs in the country.

I feel that the academic rigor of the program compels me to study without causing too much concern over my GPA or the letter grade I receive in a course. I have had excellent opportunities for clinical internships as well as many opportunities throughout the semester to work with patients,... Read More

Unlike many other programs, the academic curriculum at ODU includes numerous practice opportunities with real patients with actual diagnoses/injuries consistent... Read More

Degree: Physical Therapy

Professors, adjuncts, and TA's are very knowledgeable and willing to help. You can tell everyone is very serious about what they do and is here to help the students become good PT's. The best part of our program are the Standardized Patients that we get to utilize. I feel that those sessions really help prepare us for the "real experience" in a clinic/hospital.

I truly believe I am enrolled in an excellent Physical Therapy Program. It is certainly challenging, but that means that I am learning what I need and developing the appropriate skills to begin work immediately on graduating.
