OSU is an incredible school with a beautiful campus. It is very large, so you must put some effort forward to find groups, but thanks to its size there is likely a niche for everyone. If you enjoy sports, this is obviously an incredible location. Academically, it definitely depends on the program. Being a Big Ten School and a research university means you will have access to a wide range of resources and libraries.

I enjoyed my time at Ohio state. Not only were the teachers great, but the entire community was great to be a part of. I also really liked going to the sporting events and Ohio state had a great school spirit.i would highly recommend others I know to explore this campus as an option.

Ohio State was a great university to attend, and set me up well for my career. I was able to form close friendships with my classmates, my professors were always available to help, and the education I received gave me a strong foundation when I graduated. It was a good mix of fun and school, and the campus itself is great.

I have very much enjoyed my time at OSU thus far. The professors are wonderful and are able to facilitate a positive classroom environment. While the class work is challenging, it is intellectually rewarding and I know that it will help me in my future career as a radiologist.

Great school! It is what you make it though. Plenty of involvement offered both for academics and fun! I would highly recommend attending but being mindful during class selections and reviewing professors thoroughly. It’s easy to get lost in large class sizes so finding time to attend office hours is a huge plus to get to know your professors.

I was graduated in chemistry degree in the last year, the first year was with the pandemic. All the classes were in online, but they gave me the discounts. After the pandemic was over, the classes were back to in-person, the mood and students were so nice.

Ohio State gave me the backbone education that allowed for my successful career today. People only think of it as a football school, but the academic programs are second to none. Professors were smart, helpful, and often understanding towards student troubles. The campus is absolutely beautiful and you get the best of both worlds with a clear university district, but also being in the heart of Ohio's capital city. Chances for internships, student work programs, and study abroad are plentiful. I also... Read More

My time at Ohio State was some of the best years of my life. I truly felt part of a community while being a student. There were 50,000+ students, and 11,000+ in my graduating class, which meant there was significant diversity and always something happening on campus. Academics and culture are truly excellent.

I went to The Ohio State University for both undergraduate and graduate school and it was hands down the best decision I could’ve made for myself. It’s a large university and I truly feel like there is something there for everyone. I was able to do so much while attending such as several homecoming parades, club involvement, service trips, attending professional conferences and many networking events. I would recommend this school to anyone. Go buckeyes!!

Ohio State University is a great choice for anyone who needs a hands-on degree or masters. You will enjoy the support you will get from the lecturers and the students since you mostly work as a team in most class projects before doing your capstone projects. If you want to be a pro, give it a shot without any doubt.

My experience at The Ohio State University was overwhelmingly positive in the way it allowed me to have fun, grow as an individual, and envelope myself in education. To preface, my familial financial circumstances allowed me to graduate debt free, a well as have an allowance of money. I imagine my perspective on the college might be different if I had to work full time or graduated in debt. The Ohio State University fostered major growth in my social and professional networks, as well as bolstering... Read More

Prepared me to teach German language and literature well. I especially appreciated the perspectives of all the professors present at the time. Definitely one of the top programs and largest departments at a public university for graduate studies in German cultural and literature studies in the United States.

My time at Ohio State was well spent and the education I’ve received has taken me far in my career field. What I can say Ohio State does best is help you find your fit. I changed majors several times in my first year and each time the advisor staff was helpful and listening to my needs, issues, and desires for my education. Through them I found my major and left with a degree in proud of, use, and was interested in

Overall the atmosphere is great with a lot of school spirit. My teachers were all fairly good, although some grading was quite extreme and difficult. Outside of that, however, my teachers were all very well professional and helpful. It's nice not only having people that know their stuff, but have real world experience which almost all were exceptional at.

I believe this university is called 'The' Ohio State University. Its a very big university and you will want someone to help show you around although you can always plan and explore the university yourself. Try not to be shy and ask a lot of questions. You'll only have to ask once about things if you are able to right down the answers or keep track of everything in your phone by jotting things down somewhere. It really helps to take notes about things to help yourself around campus with transportation,... Read More

I loved The Ohio State University. Students have every opportunity - academic and otherwise - imaginable. As someone from a small town, this was important. In journalism, I picked the wrong degree at the wrong time, but that wasn't the fault of OSU. I'm pushing for my children to attend my alma mater.

I absolutely loved my time at Ohio State. I always wanted to attend a big school and wanted a typical college experience. My freshman year I made so many friends in my freshman dorm. I spent the rest of my college experience with these same friends. I also made a lot of friends in my major. Ohio State is a big campus, but it never felt big because there were so many student clubs and ways to make friends. I became an RA my sophomore year and I really enjoyed living on campus again as it was so easy... Read More

I had an amazing time at Ohio State- I think attending an enormous university allowed me to develop social and leadership skills that I wouldn't have been able to build in a smaller program. More importantly, Ohio State's in-state tuition, along with many generous scholarships funded by donors, allowed me to patch together a series of 14 scholarships that funded my undergraduate education. I wouldn't have been able to attend college without these scholarships, and am thankful to this day for all... Read More

My experience at Ohio State made me the ambitious, goal oriented and eager person I am to help other students looking to enter their undergraduate program. The Ohio Stat University main campus is daunting, the campus is huge, but the family is so welcoming. Once your major is decided your campus becomes smaller, your family becomes more intimate and you have access to any supports you may need. Ohio State will forever be a home to me and I will be forever grateful to my years spent there. Go bucks!... Read More
