I loved my professors and the classes that I took while at MSU-Billings. I loved the small town feel of campus and the close relationship I built with my peer, advisors and professors. Everyday I went to class I felt that I was entering a friendly discussion with peers in an environment of no judgment. The actual town of Billings was a perfect place for me to grow into a young adult. The only issues I felt I had with the University were the hoops I felt I had to jump through in order to finish my degree. I also wish that there were more hours required in other teacher's classrooms to help me figure out who I am as a teacher before I am in my first job. Aside from that, the actual educational environment was great and they do a lot to help provide financial assistance to their students.

MSU-Billings is an NCATE accredited university with all the benefits of a large university while maintaining that small campus feel. You work directly with professors instead of being a one of a hundreds traveling through the system. I highly recommend MSU-Billings for anyone interested in education. Montana State University Billings allowed for ultimate flexibility in my schedule so that I could complete my degree and still maintain a full time job as well as be a wife and mother. Throughout high school, our teachers always warned us not to take them for granted because once we reached college, the professors would not take the time to help us individually. I am in the Radiology Technician program so I constantly needed advice from my advisor (Kirtlye) regarding which classes to take, when, and how to go about cramming everything into less semesters so I wouldn't spend my whole life in school. Read More say that the bookstore is quite pricy, and the financial aid office isn't much help; well- until you find the right person that is. What I mean by that is that it can be very frustrating and time consuming to get help with questions regarding your finances and where you stand. They'll refer you to person after person and it seems like you've walked a huge circle until right than, you'll find the one person who actually helps. As far as the classes go, some are challenging but all of my professors have made themselves readily available to assist in my understanding process. MSU-Billings is definitely a college that can be a challenge, unless you seek the help that is there waiting to be used (i.e. your professors, study lab, other students/graduates). Other than that, the classes, people, and campus was very enjoyable. The hardest part for me was waking up and getting to class. Once you get there, than it's a breeze. If you can wake up, you can do anything. Pretty much.

MSUB-City College is a great option for student's who are looking for 2-year degrees and very hands on teachers. I have been in communication through various times with our counselors, financial aid office, business office, student help and tutoring as well as the instructors. Aside from the awesome staff; the curricula are set up in a very do-able way. Each program has specialized instructors that can answer most all questions about the pertaining field. You can take more than or fewer classes as needed to fit your schedule. The student help office is awesome and can schedule private tutors as needed. Everything you need to succeed is at your finger tips, you just have to be willing to work. The programs are set up to make you work hard and gain the knowledge needed. If you are not willing to do the work don't expect to pass. All the resources are there, but dedication is a must.
