Honestly, for the amount of tuition paid, you're getting simple education at an BA level. All of the materials and courses are easy to pass just based on the curriculum. The students are all of different ages, but plagiaries each other or their own work from their undergrad, as well as copy from others. None of the teachers seem interested or invested in your work online, seems just like an A for everything. Read More As a new student (BA was at another college), this school makes me feel weird or out of place. I did get swindle into the deal of no GRE exam, free-trip to Europe, no application fee, etc. and entered here but honestly, I could of done my MBA at a CUNY college for less debt and more educational purposes. I would recommend for an easy level but would not recommend for the adults who want more out of the MBA program itself.

Writing a dissertation to exam positive out comes, help me to achieve quality in my work. My supervisors reminded me that, you could have the best plan in the world. However, if the client does not receive it or want the help it will not fly. This is not necessarily failure but a mild stone, a bench mark in the progress of the client. I learned to have real expectation, and allowance for when life happens. Thus, life does happen and we can expect challenges,changes and difficulty but we must continue to nurture the human spirit for the success of humanity. Going into the Federal penitentiary to counsel rape victims after I survived 911, has had a strong impact on my life. I learned the difference between being emotional stuck and learned helplessness. Those women will forever be in my garden, reminding me to grow. Their parting words to me as I left the penitentiary was " Can you succeed, for us the dreams we will never be able to achieve". So this Ph.d has more meaning than you know, it is spiritually connected to the women of BMCC. Our dreams are intertwined,their prays for me drive my aspirations and been 10 yrs or more. Yet I am still inspired. In conclusion, it has been to benefit to have survive 911 and being a battered woman while raising 5 children. But mostly to have attended Audrey Cohen College Has forever changed my life. I am the new professional ready and fully equipped to handle to real life situations in the real world.

Metropolitan College of New York provides the opportunity for one to obtain their MBA in one year without having to give up their full-time job. Living in NYC is very expensive and unless you are receiving substantial financial support elsewhere, it is almost impossible to devote 100% of your time to school and not be employed. MCNY provides a flexible program during the nights and weekends that wraps up the course-load with a study abroad component that is included in the tuition. The only con that... Read More I can think of is that the school is not a popular household name. However, many of the professors that teach the courses were educated from tier 1 universities. I highly recommend MCNY.
