Full scholarship. Should've been the best experience of my life. Instead it was the absolute worst and it could've cost me my entire life. I was assaulted and strangled by a predator who attended there and was an underage drunk pothead criminal. He even had another accuser and threatened me when I cut all contact! But I still ended up telling the police everything thank goodness and I've always hoped karma would ultimately sort out everything. I remember his grades had been so bad they weren't even... Loved every second of my four years that I spent here. Lots of opportunities to get involved and build faculty and professional connections on campus. Depending on the type of degree and concentration, the coursework can be challenging but take advantage of the academic and career experience.

Mercer College of Pharmacy is terrible. You will regret going to this school. You are paying a ridiculous amount of money for a very poor quality of education. The professors are incompetent and lazy. Save yourself the trouble and stay far away from this dumpster fire.

Please, if you are a level-headed person that went to a public school or didn't enjoy private school because of the "type of kids" then do yourself a favor and do not waste the money on an application for this sorry excuse of a college. It is impossible to feed yourself at this university with only one dining hall and a handful of on-campus fast food places. The people are weird. there is no desirable party life as it is just cliques of people that hangout. If you are looking for a real college experience... Read More

I originally applied due to the block course formatting, networking and due as expressed numerous times during the interview was their use of technology for learning. Two out of the three was a lie. They had just gotten rid of the block schedule. In addition, during COVID they mandated students to go to class and deemed the recordings were not needed, only audio will be provided for later access. The classes have also been informed audio may be removed next semester. This is an over priced school... Read More

Mercer is all about money. As a Russian educated person with multiple degrees; the curriculum was a joke. A snide comments, gossips or yelling at students was a common unprofessional practice at Mercer. I recommend State School such as UGA as it is cheaper & the school concentrates on making pharmacists to be patient, 100% error free & supportive to patients. Mercer advertises as welcoming diversity for one reason only. The foreign students don’t know what they are getting themselves into: huge debts.... Read More

I am so glad that I attended Mercer University. The media studies program at Mercer is small, but it also very close with professors who truly care about your academic and professional development. One professor has become my lifelong mentor. Every professor I have had at Mercer has been truly dedicated to ensuring that their students succeed, and they are very accommodating in terms of office hours and providing assistance. While Mercer is known for its exceptional pre-med program, others I have... Read More

The college is great for engineering and medical programs. The BME side is famous for their prosthetics they create to go on a trip to Vietnam to fit every year. As for medical, it does a great job of preparing you for graduate schools due to the intense rigor of the courses.

This school has not prepared me for the pharmacy field in the slightest. The program is formatted horribly and the faculty are scrambling to fix it as students NAPLEX and MPJE scores continue to drop. This is a poor excuse for a college and an absolute waste of money. I am 100certain I would have taught myself all of the worthwhile information that Mercer provided if I just had read disease state guidelines and the recent Dipiro textbook. They teach you nothing more of value. Think your $15,000 a... Read More

Mercer University School of Law is a small and close environment that provides the opportunity for the students to get the help that they need. The classes are small and the professor is as hard if not harder as you would expect for a law school. Many of them are willing to help, but you will have to seek that help out. We also have an academic success program that will be your best friend. Now, besides the classroom experience, Mercer Law is full of excellent student organizations. Our Black Law... Read More

Mercer University college of Pharmacy is more than just a 4-year pharmacy program, what excited me the most about the program was the emphasis on community service in which we are required to participate in various community service events in the underserved communities of Atlanta as well as the diversity of the student body. I am a sole believer that being exposed to people that doesn't look like yourself is pivotal when entering corporate America or simply interacting with patients.

The Technical Communication programs was a fairly new program offered by the school. The students in the programs were given an exquisite, hands on approach to learning how to prepare case studies, write proposals, and conduct usability studies. There were many opportunities and people that I have come across during my time at Mercer. All with job opportunities and networking for the future. Possibilities are endless with passion combined with hard work and dedication to the program.

I work full time as a fellow at the CDC, so having a good work/education balance is vital. Professors are very organized and post assignments well in advance, therefore making it easy to plan ahead.
